"But Albus!" Severus whined, feeling Albus' decision was majorly unjust. "There has to be someone else, surely!"
"Everyone else is too busy, or otherwise unsuitable. You're the only man for the job, Severus. He can't stay there, surely you know that, not after what we've just discovered. It's Lily's son, Severus. Do this for Lily."
Severus sighed. "Fine. But you owe me. Big time."
"Of course. Now, off you go. I'll make sure I set up the essentials in your home by the time you arrive."
And so, Severus left, off to collect Harry and Dudley from the Dursleys. They were mortified to part with their 'darling Dudikins', but they'd agreed (albeit reluctantly) with Albus that they'd let them take him too, on pain of being arrested.
