An Alien in a Fairy Land

You were just a pain to deal with anyways

As I looked around I saw my home, Bellwood, with all my family and friends surrounding me except Gwen and Kevin. They were all congratulating me for my victory over Vilgax when my body started to glow. I looked at them terrified at what was happening but as I thought about it I realized...My body is still in Fiore...This was just a dream...Before I vanished completely Azmuth jumped onto my wrist and fiddled with my watch as the watch spoke whilst my eyes slowly drifted close...

"Flourana unlocked." A robotic version of my older voice said to me as I said goodbye to my world, knowing it would be years until I saw it again...

As I open my eyes the first thing I smell is the smell of fresh bacon and eggs, a soft smile formed on my face as the smell was one I cherished when I got back from my summer vacation, and I was able to have normal food again. I slowly sat up and stretched as I looked down to the Omnitrix which was activated and showing the silhouette for Wildvine, I guess that dream had more to it then it seemed. I slowly get up as I get changed into my normal outfit and walked into the living room of the Strauss house where Mirajane was humming to herself as she worked. She looked back towards me, giving me a wave as she finished up. "You're just in time Ben, Breakfast is ready Elfman." Mira called out as Elfman walked into the living room covered in sweat, clearly just having worked out.
"Morning Ben." He smirked as he sat down across from me.
"Had a good sleep Ben?" Mira asked as I nodded, putting my wrist with the Omnitrix on onto the counter with a smile.
"Mhm, though I'm not completely sure it was a dream cause in it I reunlocked an alien which I have also unlocked now in real life too." I smiled as Elfman smirked.
"What's this one do?" Elfman asked as Mira put down our breakfasts in front of us before sitting down herself with just an orange juice.
"It can control plants and use its vines to attack and swing quickly with them." I smiled as I start happily eating my breakfast.
"You excited for your mission?" Mira changed the subject as I nodded.
"Mhm, gonna kick some serious butt!" I grinned, thrusting my fist into the air as I did.
"Do you even know what the job is?" Mira asked curiously as I shook my head.
"Not a clue, but it shouldn't be too bad." I grinned as the two Strauss siblings sighed.
"Ben...please just be careful and take this seriously, the guild doesn't want to lose you too..." Elfman said seriously as I felt the tension thicken to the point you could cut it with a knife.
"Umm...I promise I wont die." I softly responded as I was then silent for the rest of the Breakfast.

Half an hour later I was at the station standing with Lucy as we watched Natsu and Gray start getting into the third argument in the span of five minutes. We both looked at each other, exhausted already and the day hadn't even started yet. "Why can't you guys just get along with each other?" Lucy asked as Natsu's eyes widened at her words.
"Hey Luigi when did you get here?" He asked as Lucy slapped Natsu with an angry look on her face.
"I've been here the whole time...and you know its Lucy!" Lucy shouted at Natsu who just stood there confused at what just happened.
"So...why are you joining us?" Natsu asked bluntly as Lucy sighed.
"Mira asked me to be a mediator between you two." She sighed as Happy then spoke up.
"But you really wanted to be here didn't you?" Happy said as Lucy scoffed before looking away.
"Wait if they needed a mediator, why not you?" I asked as Happy shrugged as we turned around to see Natsu and Gray in their fourth argument and an evil grin formed on Lucy's face.
"Hey Erza, this way!" Lucy lied as I smirked at this.
"Took your time, didn't you Erza?" I added to the lie as Natsu and Gray slung their arms around each other as they started to act chummy whilst me and Lucy burst out laughing.
"Even just her name scares you!" Lucy laughed as both Natsu and Gray realized we were having them on.
"You tricked us!" They said in unison as our laughter slowly died down.
"Wow I guess they can get along." I chuckled as Natsu stared at Lucy.
"Wait Lucy, why are you here?" Natsu asked as Lucy let out a sigh.
As the two talked I approached Gray who was mumbling to himself "Why do we have to be babysitters for the new guild members." He sighed as I shook my head.
"You know we're babysitting you guys right?" I asked him as he looked at me, seemingly embarrassed at being heard by me but before we could say anything else a familiar voice called out.
"Sorry, did I make you guys wait?" The voice of Erza scarlet asked as she approached us with a wagon full of luggage bags which she was pulling like it was nothing.
"That's way too much luggage!" Lucy exclaimed.
"Hmm...Oh yes you're joining us right, I apologise I forgot your name." Erza said politely as Lucy sighed.
"It's Lucy, I'm a new member of the guild. It's a pleasure to work with you." She introduced as Erza smiled softly.
"Don't need to be so formal, we're family now so don't worry about all that," Erza smiled as Lucy took a breath "You and Ben have been talked about quite a bit in the guild you know, I'm excited to work with you both." Erza smiled casually as I approached.
"Yo Erza." I said casually as Gray looked at me shocked.
"Being so casual with Erza...that kid's got guts." He said shocked.
"Good Morning Ben, now I do have to warn you guys that this is a bit of a risky job but considering your twos feats right now I have no worries that you wont do great." Erza smiled as Natsu then finally spoke up.
"I don't know what our task is this time, but I'll go with you on one condition Erza." Natsu said with a serious expression I hadn't seen since fighting Macao.
"Oh, what's the condition?" Erza asked as Gray started freaking out at Natsu demanding payment from Erza.
"Yep, when we return...fight with me, I'm different from back then." Natsu grinned a cocky smirk as Erza reciprocated.
"You've really grown up, I'm not very confident in myself but okay I accept." Erza smirked as we all looked on in shock.
"What do you mean you're not confident- fight me seriously goddamn it!" Natsu shouted as Erza chuckled.
"I know you're strong, I just wanted to say that...what about you two Gray and Ben, do you wish to fight me too?" Erza asked as we both shook our heads, Gray staying quiet during this as I spoke up.
"I'm not into fighting with my friends, it...brings some bad memories." I say remembering my first fight with Kevin.
"Very well, I insist I make it up to you guys though for helping me on this quest." Erza smiled as Natsu erupted in flames.
"Oh hell yeah, I'm all fired up now!" Natsu roared excited as the train pulled in and we all got onto the train, Natsu hesitating as we did so before I remembered his motion sickness.

As the train started moving, almost immediately Natsu fell prone to his motion sickness as he stuck his head out the window ready to hurl at any moment. I felt bad for Natsu but it's only an hour train journey so he shouldn't have to worry. As Gray, Natsu, Happy and Erza sat on one booth in the next one I was talking with Lucy about my job I took. "Yeah I didn't even need to transform for the job after I realised what was going on." I smiled as Lucy listened closely in awe.
"I've been a Fairy Tail fan since I was a kid and to think there was a job taken by Fairy Tail which didn't resort in damage is shocking." Lucy said shocked as I rubbed the back of my head awkwardly.
"Is it really that amazing? If I had transformed I probably would've broken tons of things but since I was only me I didn't have to worry." I smiled as we looked over to the other booth before Lucy called out.
"By the way Erza, what kind of magic do you use?" Lucy asked as Erza brushed the question off.
"Oh it's nothing special, I think Gray's is more beautiful." Erza responded, as if to demonstrate Gray then used his ice magic to make a small ice figure of the Fairy Tail Logo.
"It's Ice magic, Ice Make to be specific." Gray explained as I looked stunned.
"Even Big Chill doesn't have that much control of Ice." I say shocked.
"Wait I get it! Ice and Fire- there is no wonder you two don't get along!" Lucy said about Natsu and Gray as Gray looked away awkwardly.
"Who cares about that?" Gray asked, not wanting to get into it in front of Erza.
"Anyways, what's the job Erza?" I spoke up as Erza now had Natsu's unconscious head resting on her lap.
"Well let me explain, on my way back from my job I stopped by in a bar in Onibas where I overheard a conversation taking place. They were very rowdy and rude to the staff so I was about to step in when they mentioned a few things that worried me, specifically that they had a sealed object known as Lullaby and that they would have it open in no place for a man called Erigor. It wasn't until I left the bar when I heard some civilians talking about the men being dark mages from the Dark Guild Eisenwald. They said they would have the object free in three days...and I can't help but be worried about what Lullaby could possibly be." Erza said, being very up front with her hints of fear.
"I don't get it though, what if their job was just nothing special?" Gray asked as Erza nodded.
"I thought that at first too but...then I remembered the name Erigor, the ace mage for Eisenwald. He would always take assassination jobs when they were legal and even after the Magic Council barred assassination jobs he continued taking them as his guild was plunged into being a dark guild." Erza explained as the train started stopping and we piled off the vehicle.
"Wait was that all that happened to them though, Being branded as a Dark Guild?" Lucy asked in shock as Erza shook her head.
"Their guild master was arrested, and they were given the order to disband...you can already tell they didn't take kindly to that," Erza said as she looked down, a dark and menacing aura appearing around her as she gave a look that could kill "If only I remembered the name Erigor back at the bar...I would've put them all in a blood offering." Erza said with a growl as Lucy jumped in fear.
"If it was just the group at the bar you would've easily been able to take them, but a whole guild? That's why you needed our help." Gray summarised as the train started pulling away as I started getting a feeling we were forgetting something.
"Exactly, no matter what this Lullaby is- be it some forbidden magic or a tool to do harm to people we have to stop them...so we will march to Eisenwald and stop them before they can do anything." Erza said determined as Gray smirked.
"Sounds interesting." He said as I sighed.
"Well, if we're going to take on a whole guild at least we have some powerful mages with us like- NATSU!" I realised suddenly as I looked at the train which was already gone from our sight.
"Wait...yeah where is Natsu?" Lucy exclaimed as I slowly pointed in the direction the train left in.
"Most likely...still on the train." I sighed, mentally facepalming at the fact I forgot to grab Natsu.

Back on the train Natsu was resting at the booth by himself as a dark haired mage sat across from him and started speaking some stuff that Natsu couldn't properly hear because of his motion sickness. "Fairy Tail huh? I envy you..." Was all Natsu could make out as the mans soft smile then slowly formed into one full of malice...
