These guys have nothing on you

Running through the jungle, I let out a mighty roar whilst I jumped over a log which was quickly surrounded by a bright glow. The moment I recognised what it was a branch shot up and tried wrapping around my legs, only for me to jump onto the branch in order to snap it. The moment one of my large feet landed on the branch another two sprouted out at me as a face formed in the tree log. Slowly the branches wrapped around my body holding me in place as I looked up and saw the massive rat, 'Sherry' called Angelica, growling at me. Knowing I had little choice my maw opened up into its four quarters and fired it down at the log which destroyed it and the branches that had me in a trap. Landing with a thud on the hard soil of Galuna, I looked up to Angelica getting ready for what looked like a breath a breath attack. In preparation I fired a Mouth beam of my own quickly, our beams collided however as it exploded it made me abundantly clear that it was a breath attack...cause it stunk. I quickly covered my mouth as I coughed in pain, thanks to my enhanced smell it was HORRIBLE. As I coughed and spluttered I saw Angelica going for another punch, I needed to leave...quick. With no second thoughts I jumped at an angle as high as I could, sending me to such heights that put me equal with the height of the temple- also flying back towards the temple. As I got closer I saw Sherry preparing another couple stone golems. "Get ready Julie and Sylvie!" Sherry cried, clearly having named the two golems as they prepared for my descension.
"Sonic Howls!" I shouted in response as I looked below myself and fired the mouth beam, sending me higher in the air- enough to land me on top of the mountain and more importantly away from the wizard.
Letting out a mighty howl as I stood atop the mountain, declaring my victory before I proceeded to jump off the side of the mountain.

It took me a couple hours to trek back across the island to where I left the others, at this point the moon was high in the sky. I could've been back quicker by jumping again however I didn't want any more attention from the mages I just escaped. Quickly I ran into the entrance and jumped down the hole we descended from initially, landing to some of the group sleeping whilst Gray sat in silence looking at the demon. I slowly walked over and sat next to him. "You were gone awhile Ben, you okay?" Gray asked, clearly not wanting to talk about his bloodshot eyes.
"Yeah, I gave them the slip...you good? I asked as Gray nodded.
"I'll be better when I've made sure Deliora never sees the light of day again." Gray said as his fists clenched.
"So how do you know the demon?" I asked as Gray sighed.
"I explained this to the others so I'll explain it to you too...back in the day I fought Deliora as a child with another ice make user who was my age- this was before I joined Fairy tail...we couldn't stop it so my master Ur cast the spell 'Iced Shell' on him...freezing him permanently, at the cost of her own life." Gray explained as I looked down.
"So now someone is trying something with Deliora...you're taking this hard." I asked as he nodded.
"pretty much." Gray simply said.
"Just don't do anything stupid...I know its ironic coming from me who went along with Natsu's plan to take the S-Class quest, but you're part of a group now Gray you don't have to go at it alone." I said seriously as he nodded.
"You're very wise for a ten year old." Gray simply said.
"Well I've had a lot of experience...when we get off this island I intend to tell you- and everyone in our team the whole story." I promised.
"I guess that's motivation to finish this mission ASAP." Gray said, still in the same dead tone of voice as suddenly light burst through the rocks above Deliora and shone a massive purple light onto the demon.
"What's that light?" Lucy asked as she and Natsu finally woke up, the roof now moving in a way to give the light a more perfect way of hitting the beast.
"The roof opened up!" Natsu said in shock as I stood next to Gray, glaring at the light.
"The moonlight is hitting Deliora, this can't be a coincidence." Gray growled as him, me and Natsu all started running up the stairs that I was previously took up by Sherry.

Making it to the lobby we saw, indeed, the floor had opened up to let a massive beam of light descend down to hit Deliora...what's more it came from the roof where those three mages were walking to. "Guys we have to go further up!" Gray shouted as he led the charge, for me and Natsu to follow as Lucy, her spirit and Happy were way behind us.

Getting to the roof we saw at least twenty mages all standing in a circle, chanting magic words. We quickly hid behind rocks as we watched from afar. It was certain, they were gathering moonlight and hitting Deliora with it...alongside our mission to destroy the moon it was slowly all coming together. "It's a Belianese Spell Chant, Moon Drip." Lucy's spirit said as Lucy jumped slightly.
"You're still here, Lyra?"
"So that's it...They're going to use Moon Drip to revive the demon below us." Lyra said calmly as we all looked at her in shock.
"But that's impossible, Iced Shell is ice that can't be melted so what good is reviving the demon if it's enclosed in a shell?" Gray asked.
"Moon Drip is a magic specifically meant to melt ice, when concentrated the magic of the moon has the power to dispel any magic!" Lyra explained.
"Then Moon Drip is probably what is affecting the villagers too...How can we stop it?" I asked as Lucy covered my mouth.
"Shh, someone is coming!" Lucy hushed as the three mages from before approached the spell being cast...led by a man in a cloak and a deliora shaped mask with hairs attached to the mask.
Knowing this was probably the leader and that we had to do something. "We were up all afternoon searching for that 'werefrog'...I'm so tired." Yuka yawned as Toby sighed.
"It's probably just a harmless frog in the day." Toby sighed as Sherry ran up to their boss.
"Reitei-Sama, earlier I found this frog that when it turned night time it became a werewolf...it even attacked Angelica and my dolls before getting away...I can't speak about Love like this!" Sherry cried, it seemed like they were only concerned about me and forgot the idea of other intruders...good.
"A Werefrog...maybe Take Over magic." Reitei said as his expression was as neutral as you can get.
"Is that guy, Reitei?" Natsu asked.
"Acting all high and mighty with that weird mask...he's probably behind the revival." Lucy spoke slowly.
"You think so? I think it's cool." Happy casually spoke as I quicky covered his mouth in worry he was going to make too much noise.
"Have they been able to resurrect Deliora yet?" Reitei asked as Sherry spoke up.
"Not yet, they say tomorrow should be the day though." Sherry said softly as Reitei let out a small chuckle.
"The time is almost here...about this Werefrog, find it and kill it- we don't want any more distractions to the ritual...the only people left should be the villagers on the other side of the island," Reitei then took a deep breath and a smirk formed on his lips "Eliminate them all."
Our faces all paled as Sherry, Yuka and Toby all began to charge away. Knowing we couldn't let it happen I whispered to Natsu and Lucy "I'll distract them, you guys go and defend the village." I whispered before I looked over to Gray as his paled face was still staring at Reitei.
"That voice...no...it can't be..." Gray stuttered as I jumped out of the bushes and landed in front of the three underlings.
"I won't let you hurt the villagers!" I roared as the trio of mages all halted in their tracks.
"The Werefrog...how much of that did you hear-" Before I could get anymore information out of them a massive torrent of flames erupted into the sky before Natsu shouted out.
"We're the ones who will stop you!" Natsu roared as the trio of mages, as well as Reitei, looked towards Natsu which gave me an opportunity.
Quickly I rushed forward and punched Sherry into the gut which knocked her out, I didn't want to deal with her dolls again. "Sherry!" Toby shouted as I quickly clenched my ears, his constant shouting was starting to get to me.
"I see...so the villagers asked Fairy Tail for help." Reitei said calmly as I went to punch Toby however he jumped out of the way.
"Ice make Floor!" Gray shouted as he charged at Reitei and cast his ice floor spell, though before it could reach him Reitei used an Ice Make floor of his own...I'm starting to get the bigger picture.
"Lyon...do you have any idea what you're doing?" Gray growled as I put two and two together...Reitei was the other pupil Gray mentioned earlier.
