Alexandra's POV:

"Charli. Did you see what your aunt had on her desk!" I hissed as we left Howards office, walking down the halls.

"What?"

"The necklace and bracelet."

"OOOOHHH! You don't think..."

"I do. It can't be a coincidence she has them. She must have found them." Charli seemed almost desperate to make sure her aunts name was in the clear.

"She did say she found them on the oval after she was doing her rounds during the aftermath of one of our last battles.

"That's a little too convenient. Providing the exact location and around the time she found them. We need the others." Charli whispered as we left the building.

"Guys! You will not belive what I just saw in Howarfs office!" I shouted once I got back to our dorm.

We walked into our house and gathered everyone at the table for an emgerancy meeting.

"On Howards' desk, you will not belive it! I swear was the excat same braclet as we all have but the......material part was black and silver. And a sword key exactly like ours was on a necklace next to it!"

"Shut up!"

"You're lying!"

"She's not." Charli interveened, "I saw it too. It is excatly like ours."

"Then how do we get a look at it?" Jaimie asked.

"As far as I know Howards thinks it's pieces of jewllery that were lost and she found them after one of most recent fights."

"Are you sure. Absolutely sure." Ember remarked.

"Exactly like ours. Except the woven bracelet and key was black and silver." Charli stated.

Yes I'm sure, with out a doubt, it is the air key and morpher." I declared.

"So.......-we sneak into her office?"

"Not today. She'll be there."

"Tommorrow is the Centanry celebrations so that's out. But maybe the day after." Charli pondered.

"Well, we would have to actually have it to use it." Eli started to open up a rabbit hole.

"NO! we are not stealing from my-"

"We are not breaking in to Howards office just to get a key and bracelet!" I countered.
Me and Charli shared eye contact for a few seconds. Charli's eyes glimmered with appreciation. That I had stopped her from revealing her secret. I don't think her aunt would like us poking around, especially her Niece.

Charli eyed me as I walked in from the kitchen. She wasn't happy that I had mentioned her Aunts' office just after the touchy subject that had been revealed.

"Who said anything about breaking in?" Ember said, brandishing her key, "I control gravity right? So, if we can get through an open window or unlock one then it's technically not breaking in. And we never had to tamper with anything, nothing will leave a trace."

"And if the window is locked, then I can use my power to pick it. In any case, I guess I could try to wipe the floor of our foot prints. or Em somehow holds us up wither her gravity trick." Jaimie devised, pulling out her key and waving it around.

The dim lights shone on the wooden obsidian black stage. Faintly illuminating a projector screen and Mrs Walters. On the screen was our next assignment.

We were to choose our favourite book and wright our rendition of the first few chapters; all the same length and relating to the story. Then we had to come up with a story from scratch and the word limit was two thousand words.

Mrs Walters was allowing us to team up but no more than a pair of three. We were allowed to brainstorm and concluded on idea that would eventually turn into our story; as long as we all had different versions of the story idea we started off with. Otherwise, we would be immediately failing. And that meant twenty percent off our passing grade.

To say I was freaking out would be stupid. But to say I was beating myself up wouldn't sound far away from the truth. Mrs Walters was ranting on and giving us prompts as she spoke, making us write them down or type them onto a word document. I was starting to get a headache from the constant spiel of words. It's not that I can't write without a prompt, but I have been physically taught to not think of any ideas or legit be able to write without a prompt.

Very rarely does an idea or ever do I just start writing now. Naplan and all my years of schooling has erased the ability to conjure thoughts and or ideas for stories from my imagination and start writing. And it irks me to the point where I would rather burn all the prompting material and change the schooling system. If only I could.

"Hey." Elijah whispered beside me; I had my head on our desk as it swarmed with words, "I'll continue jotting down the prompts you just ignore her. If you need to step out let me know."

"Thanks Elijah." I mumbled through my jacket sleeve, giving him a slight smile.

I can hear him type away furiously as he struggles to keep up with Mrs Walters as she rants but he never complains. I now feel bad for dumping all of this onto him. Elijah may not realise it but he has helped through some tough times; whether it be writing or something else. No matter what, he has always tried his best. And I appreciate that. He loves books or anything to do with them so I might get him something next time we go out.

Finally, class ends, and we escape the dimly lit classroom in the herd of people rushing to their next class. I look up to see Eli giving me a look as he slides his backpack over his shoulder, and I return it with a slight smile. Without saying anything we head to the food hall. I unzip my bag and take out some capsules from a Panadol packet before chucking them in my mouth and swallowing them as I screw the lid back on to my water bottle.

Even though we had just saved Charli from the clutches of evil, we still had to atend a lecture afterwards.

The celebrations ended with a band yesterday. A legit bang; fireworks light up the sky with a plethora of colours, in all types of designs. The academy colours: Ocean and navy blue with gold, were launched up as mine, fountain and sparkler types of fireworks. Students had cheered at the display as our Academy colours painted the sky. After that all five of us walked back to our dorm early.
