Catching Feelings

Alexandra's POV:

Someone out of the corner of my eye jumped off the roof and landed next to us. Charli squealed in surprise at the sight of someone new.

"Well? Don't we have a job to do?" The new person, who sounded strangly farmilar, pointed out.

I curiouy studdied the new superhero next to us while Kyia was directing the others, getting them to lure the monster away from the school grounds. Her Police background must be coming into play because she was better at it than me. Charli took off with a sprint, heading straight for the shadow dinosaur. The others were not far behind Except me; I knew this person next to me.

Those striking grey eyes, I knew I had seem them before.

“Close your mouth, Alexandra. You’ll get a gust of wind to chock on.”

“So, it is you." I gapped. "You’re Neice would freak.”

“That’s why I don’t intend on intending to tell her unless necessary.”

“Your secrets safe with me Howards.” I whispered.

Adding a comical wink to the end of it.

Principal Howards laughed.

I brought out my golden key from my pocket and smirked at Howdy's reaction, she was going to be in for a blast. Wuite literaly. This key would blind the monster with a flash of starlight. My galaxy key.

I tapped her gold and black bracelet and it transformed into my morpher. The image of Howards staring in shock I she transformed into the golden hero never left my mind.

"You where saying something about a gust of wind to the mouth?" I smugly sly as Howards clearly gaps at me.

"You and your friends are in big trouble, missy. Extraterstial objects don't make for good excursions when I specifically told you not to." She catches the fear flashing in my eyes. Her face lights up and a devils grin forms on her lips.

Act cool, Alexandra.

Her voice is monotone. And it's scary.

She knows. She knows that we visted the asteroid. Oh well, punishment wil have to wait later, fisrt we need to deal with shadow dino here.

"Do you want your Neice to know?" I ask.

Howards cocks her head to the side, she can't belibe this woman is actually retaliating. I know she knows people are scared of her; fear her as the scary Principal.

But in reality they haven't seen her melt for her Neice.

"I'm not asking. I'm stating." I shrug.

She stares at me. Soft grey eyes hardening into a raging storm. She knows I'm being a jackarse because I have a point.

"And your point is?" She sighs, reluctantly listening to me.

"Your Neice will know it is you from the moment she hears your vocie. Even if she doesn't realise then, she would know from how you would act around her- rather more protecively- before and after battles with these shadowy demons."

"And how do we stop her from realising?" I can't belive my Principal is actually listenting to me, as if I am the Principal and she is the student.

"There's no way we csn stop it but we can only prevent it. Charli will always be your Neice, and I'm sure she will forgive you in time if you decide not to tell her until she figures it out."

"Oh. I am glad Rose landed a friend like you." She mutters.

"Uhm... Excuse me for asking this if it is personal but why do you- you keep calling her Rose?" I find myself asking before I can stop myself.

"Charli's full name is: Charli Ambrosia Skylar Steele. Rose is short for Ambrosia; middle name that only both of us share. She likes me calling her Rose because it's something we share in common and it has nothing to do with what mother named her."

"Wow. Her trauma, really is.....-deep." I find myself actually feeling angry.

Not at her mother. Not at Howards foe not doing anything else. But at me. Myself.

How I haven't been there to comfort her. To let her trust me. I seen the way she looked at me when I first arived. I seen the way how her eyes changed when she looked at me after I saved her from Marcus. I'd thought I had been feeling angry becauseKyia hadn't stoped Marcus before he asulted Charli. I had let Marcus get to Charli.

The way those turquoise eyes reguard me, those little specs of grey in her ocranic eyes would watch me from day to day. How I would get lost in those pools of molten ocean......

Enough, Alexandra!

"That's adorabale. How you call her Rose." I smile.

"Don't you start." Howards grumbles, "Last thing I need is a stuborn headed angry Charli bearing down on me. Asking how sudenly her friend knows about why I call her Rose."

I laugh, "I'll make sure it doesn't slip. Now, we should help the others and get this finished. I have an assement to get back to." I sigh.

Howards takes another key off her belt with admireation and puts in into her morpher. "Cyclonic winds." She mutters.

"A storm key?" I ask.

"Something like that." She grins.

"Some strong wind might be what we need right now. That shadow dinosuar has to be too heavy to heft itself back onto its feet after being knocked over." I ponder.

"I like where your going with this." Howards states.

"Well, Howards. It seems we have a dinosuar to topple." I laugh.

She too, huffs in laughter as we run to the others aid.

I use my star key to create a flash of light to blind the dinosuar and Howards knocks the Earth's gaint antique. With a ground shaking thud the dinosuar hits the ground. Jaimje binds its legs and arms with her vines, Elijah turns the area around its head to water and Kyia freezes its  jaws shut. Lastly, Charli sets it ablazd in a show of firey explosions.

We watch as it explodes like multiple fireworks, some even burst inside the shadowy whisps of the monster, creating a spectacular. All the while Kyia and Howards watch over us young adults with pride and curiosity. Howards mainly stares at Charlie and I have to whisper to her to tell her to stop staring.

God, do I have some explaining to do tomorrow in Howards office. With Kyia, the Police officer and Howards, my Principal.

I sounds as if I was being arested for some big shit.

If I hadn't knew better, I would have completly boycoted it.
