Gossiping with my principal and police officer

Kyia almost fainted.

"Don't you faint on me, or I'll get to slap you."

"No way in hell are you slapping me Alexandra! D-Demitry you explain right now." Kyia was trying to for words as she spoke with a broken brain.

Howard's sighed. "A little under a week before Markus attacked Rose when Akexandra and her crew were fighting another monster I got wind of students venturing out into the forrest to either hide from and or watch the fight. Once I found the kids that had been in the forest I was going to return back with them to my office when- I assume- one of you's accidentally threw the monster you were fighting and it landed next to us. We were about five meters within the general circle exclusion zone of the asteroid when the monster landed almost on top of us."

"I can confirm none of us accidentally threw it. It just leaped away from your Niece's firey attacks. I think the flame key has given her more of a firey temper." My hands are held up in the universal unarmed position.

"Well, after pushing the stupid child to safety I dived behind a tree. That's when the silver light flashed and these two appeared. I had no idea what they were, that was, until after Marcus had attacked Rise and you Alexandra asked what they were and how I got them. I saw your braclet clearly for the first time and noticed the similarities but I couldn't add them together. It was only until the last battle did everything finally click into place." Howards continued.

Kyia sighed. "This does make it even more incredibly difficult. First I have to lie about getting information about how the attacks happen on school grounds and if the students are the superheros. Then I somehow have to fight with them now. I thought seeing Charli transform was mind blowing but, I guess being a hero always runs in your family Howards. Now, how am I going to cover for you?"

"Simple. Don't. I don't plan on getting involved much as I am still the Principal. But I do know that you guys will need me time and time again. I am happy to work with you guys I just don't want it to be every single battle and my Niece already recognised my voice, if it wasn't for this mysterious asteroids ways of keeping our identities hidden and altering my voice she would have knowen straight away. I don't want her freaking out and stressing over something new with the thousands of thins she already is drowning in."Howards explained.

"She will find out some time. Sooner or later. Wether you tell her or not." I remind her.

"I don't think she is ready yet. Neither am I." Howdy sighed.

"I know where your coming from." I sigh.

"Speaking of Charli. Her parent's are coming this Christmas. To my house because Rose won't have it anywhere else." Howards sighs and Kyia balks.

"What?" I feel my eyebrows scrunching together.

Howard's watches me with peaked interest. "She didn't tell you?"

"Tell me what?" I ask, confused and intrigued.

"Not my place to say. But.....my sister has some -very- bad ways of raising a child."

This only makes me want to interigate her parents more.

"You say very bad. I say jail time times by the thousand." Kyia deadpans.

"Seriously! I have a meeting if I ever meet them I'm going to snap their necks myself." I can't help but think.

"Okay, okay. Back on topic." Kyia waves her hands around. "That has to be all the keys that this asteroid is spitting our, right? I mean we have mostly all elements and what else could it give us. I could help sneak you into one of our labs Alex but it would leave traces of the asteroid, and plus we have camera's monitoring it."

"I know someone who could leave no trace." Rather than a smirk forming on my face, lips curl into a frown, "Charli."

"Fire key, brilliant idea!" Kyia slaps my shoulder.

Then we both remeber whose sitting opposite us. Both our heads turn to Howdy with guilty expressions. Her's however, is hard to read. It's an intrecrite mask of blankness but her eyes show her true emotion. She is a bit hurt but otherwise not bothered.

"If my Neice is up for breaking the law- again- this time with a Pice officer then whatever. It will give us better insight to as why the monsters keep coming after it." She says.

"About that actually....." I cringe. "It's one guy that's making all of these Monsters all so he can try and reach the asteroid. His names something stupid like Fe- Fred- Fedyor. I don't know but he wants the asteroid; I think it has something precious he wants."

Howard's and Kyia seem to contemplate for a minute. I'm surprised Kyia doesn't ask why I haven't filled her in. But we haven't exactly had free time over the last couple of days, weeks even. From fights, to school, and general life we have booth been up to our necks with stuff to do.

And I'm seriously behind on a few of my other classes. Since I only came for one course they would normally allow me to finish with just completing one subject. But, since it is one subject that requires good English skills and a bit of math and sometimes history I have been put into classes with other kids to help improve my studies.

English and maths is with Mrs Gardna. Sometimes Mrs Walters will step in for us when it comes to writing with mathematics. History is with Mr McAllen. These don't start until next term but I'm glad I already know that we all share these classes with our friends. And then theirs hockey. Both teams are going away within two weeks of eachother. Our ice hockey competition is hosted in a nearby town and then if we win the tourn here for outdoor we go to the state finals for school.

"Alexandra!" Someons calls.

I realised I've zoomed out again.

"Sorry, what did I miss?"

"Nothing much. Just us bickering about how we are going to ease your work load." Howards non chalantly says.

I tilt my head in confusion.

"You have new classes starting next term. Am I right?" I nod, "Well, that with all your sport and other extra circular activitues, I think all of you are going to have a hard time."

"Did you just call our powers extra curricular?" I say.

Kyia fails to cover a snort of laughter.

"Give me your phone." Howards abruptly says.

"What?" I question audaciously.

"Give me your phone." She persists.

Reluctantly I dig it out of my pocket and slid it across the desk to her unlocked. She picks it up and begins to type. It doesn't take her long before she finishes and slides it back over to me. As I pick it up she taps something into her phone and mine starts to vibrate. My eyes widden. The screen on my phone shows that the contact needs to be saved if I want to keep it.

"I gave you my number so you can call me without having to use your bracelet, making you look suspicious and so Charli can't hear what you say. I'd say texting is a better option." She states.

Kyia stares at her wide eyed. I'm struck by complete surprise and confusion.
