Something Sus

Charli's POV

"Where the fuck have you been." I say as I grab Alex's arms and dragged her towards the storage spaces underneath the bus.

"And where is my Aunt." I hiss.

"Collecting the trophies. As well as taking photos as our principal I guess. As for the others Kyia's already taken them to the fight. We need to get back to the acdemy otherwise someone will thing something is up." She says.

"What about my Aunt? We can't leave without her. A-and what are you holding?" My eyebrows rose as they knitted together, "What are you holding?"

"I don't know, Jack gave it to me. He said he wanted Eli to see it."

"Hmm. Those two have been acting odd lately... More-"

"Gay?"

"Yes, that's it. Elijah can't stop pinning over Jacks work. And Jack can't help but be flustered around him."

"I ship them." She giggled.

"Me too." I snicker.

Those two are obviously chrushing on each other.

I don't know how Alex got the bus driver to drive but I'm glad I don't have to confront him. Jesper is chill when it comes to most things but he hates it when I try to...Well, escape out of the grounds using his bus with the others who are permited to go shopping.

Whoever this new superhero was, they for sure got on my nerves. I felt as though I should know them.

Alex tapped my shoulder. "We need to get everyone off this bus and to a sfaer place. Then we need to help our friends."

"You and Alex help everyone back to the junction before the dirt road to the acdemy and I'll do my best to safe everyone else."  Jaimie whispered.

I talked to Jesper about letting the kids off and we'll make our way back to the start of the road to the academy. He wasn't happy with the idea but he saw it was a better and safer option. Plus, he could bring the bus to us with a few minutes after the superheros saved the day.

"Yeah. I'm not counting on us to save it anytime soon." Alexandra muttered as we walked beside me.

"Hey. If that's ture, then you write a story about our adventures."

"Maybe I will."

"Okay, everyone. The bus isn't safe as you guys know there is a battle going on between the superheros and some sort of monster. If Howards finds out that any of you left this group and right here she will not hesitate to give you a grousome punishment. Do not make the superheros have to work harder and longer to save the day because your stupid arse can't stay put."

"Char, I think they get the message." Alex chuckled beside me.

"Well, good." I huffed.

Suddenly roots from the ground erupted and seperated us from the group, covering them in some sort of shelter. Jaimie landed beside us a second later.

"What is that for?" I hissed.

"Shadow demon threw something this way. I knew I had to protect the group but aslo I thought it was the perfect opotunity for you guys to appear...you know- Superhero style."

"I am not transforming right next to my teamates." Alex hissed.

"This is the only chance we will get." I whispered to her.

Just then a log of a tree landed on Jaimie's makeshift baracade. Screams and sques echoed from inside it. All of us winced.

"Galaxy! Linked!" Alex muttered.

"Fire! Linked." I coppied her.

With two bright flashes our appearance changed and Jaimie dropped her makeshift hut of vines, as the vines retreated back into the earth a few wrapped around the log and carefully hoisted it away from our teamates.

As the wall fell, people gasped and began to sanp photos and video us.

"Don't worry. Your teamates are safe. Stay here and let us do our job and soon you shall be able to return back to the academy." Alex spoke.

Some heads vigourisly nodded form our teamates. Others just oggled at us and thought they couldn't belive that they were seeing us in person. With a jump all three of us landed on the outskirts of the battle field.

"Okay. So now this guy has no artistic talent." Ember mumbled.

I couldn't hold back a laugh.

"We're literaly fighting a blob! Of shadow!" Eli shouted.

"Can you four focus more on the task at hand then his talents. We can still be caught by my work collogues, you know." Kyia scolded us.

"Fine." We all groaned.

The new superhero beside her laughed.

"Come on. We have lunch waiting for us back at the academy." Elijah enthusiasticly said.

"Of course you think of food." Alex chuckled.

"Says you! You're always feeding your face as well!" Ember countered her best friend.

"Girls! How about we focus on the shadow blob heading our way?" The new superhero shouted.

"Charli!" Alex called. "We need an inferno!"

She turned to the mystery new superhero and whispered something. Their silvery grey eyes  glanced at me and I swear I saw spescs of turqouise in them. The heat emulatiting from my key was a welcome feeling, the fire roared to life in the palms of my hands. I willed it to grow as much as I could.

Suddenly a gale force wind ripped past me, stealing the blaze in my hands. The wind propeled fire launched into the shadow monster and dissapeared.

"Char, burn it from the inside out!" The silver eyed super hero said.

I could feel the flame wanting to burn. So I let it; fueling it to the point  an inferno erupted. It was so hot that I could feel my skin and the tree's melting around us.

Sudenly a gyser of flame shot into the sky from the monster. It took a lot of my energy to contain the blast. The shadow of the monster had evapourated.

"Great. Now, I'm going to be exsauhsted on the bus, on the way back." I sigh.

I can't barely keep my eyes open. A flash of red light tells me that my disguise fell. I feel weaker after trying to maintain it. My body feels as if all my energy has been sucked out of my limbs. Specs of blurry blackish, golden blobs peppered my vision. I was seeing stars.

"ROSE!" Was the last thing I heard before a silver light filed my vision and I blacked out.

Sooo. I haven't uploaded bc I've bsen busy with studying and also finising off assessments. Soz for the late update, also been working on other stories👀😭
