-4 years later-

EDDIE'S POV:

I'm at the firehouse, I'm sitting inside the locker room.

It's been years since we heard from Buck.

He hasn't sent anything, except gifts on every birthday. Each of us received gifts from Buck with a card wishing us a happy birthday, but that's all, he didn't mention if he's okay or where he is.

I'm still wearing the silver bracelet with my initial one he gave me for my birthday last year.

And years had passed... but I still have feelings for him. It's the reason why I haven't dated anyone in the past few years. Until today only Hen knows about my feelings for him, she kept her promise; she won't tell anyone until I do.

We're all happy now and accepted that Buck left, but it doesn't mean that we don't miss him, and we wanted him to come back or just hear something from him.

For the past years, every birthday, Christmas, New Year and other events he sent us gifts.

"Hey birthday boy!" Chimney called me.

Yeah, today's my birthday.

"Did Buck send you gifts already?" He asked.

"No, not yet." I said.

"But he always sends gifts early, right?" He said.

"Maybe he's busy." I said. "By the way, I already cleaned the truck." I said changing the topic.

"Okay, and Cap wants you upstairs, he's going to talk about something with you. Don't ask me what, cause I don't know either." He explained.

I was chuckling going upstairs.

HEN'S POV:

We all just finished finishing up the decorations and foods.

Today is Eddie's birthday, Christopher's here too. He wouldn't miss his father's birthday..

"Hey, hey, there he comes!" I said.

"One, two, three..." Bobby counted.

"Happy birthday, Eddie!!!!" We all shouted.

"What the-!" He's shocked.

"Happy birthday, dad!" Christopher greeted, walking to his dad with a gift.

"Thanks, son!" He hugged him and went to me and Bobby. "Hey, Cap. Would you tell me who's plan is this?"

"Uh, not me. It's Hen." He smiled.

"Thanks Hen, I really appreciate it." He smiled and hugged me.

The bell rang right before we even lit the cake.

"Chris, you stay here with the other firefighters, okay? We'll be back." He said to Christopher and went downstairs.

BUCK'S POV:

I just went home from the gym.

I'm at my room, I picked up my phone and dialed Maddie's number.

"Hello, this is Maddie Buckley." She said on the phone.

"Hello?" She said, "Are you gonna say something?" She spoke again.

"I pinky swore, right?" I finally spoke.

"Buck?!" She's surprised.

"Hey, sis-" I said and smiled.

"Evan Buckley! What the heck happened to you?! I haven't heard from you for four years! You also changed your number!" She shouted.
