Where Ever You Are, You Have To Come Back

CHAPTER 18:

— BUCK'S P.O.V —

"Evan Buckley..." He said.

I just stood there, too stunned to speak or even move.

"Now, that we all got things worked out, we got a house and we got everyone's approval for you moving in with me.. I think it's the right time to ask you this question.." I could hear the nervousness in his voice. "Will you marry me?" He finally asked, tears building up in his eyes.

Tears started streaming down my face because of joy as it took time for me to take in whatever was going on and said, "Yes! I will... I will marry you." I chuckled.

Eddie got up from his knee, hugged me and started crying of joy.

"I love you, baby.." I said and he put the ring on my finger.

"It's beautiful." I said with a smile on my face, and tears kept falling.

He wiped away my tears and hugged me again.

All of them came to us. Maddie pulled me from Eddie and she gave me a tight hug.

"Congrats, Buck. I'm really happy for you!" She said as she was wiping her own tears.

We both watched as all of them were cheering.

"Congrats, brother" Chimney exclaimed.

"You did great, Eddie!" Hen said and hugged him.

"Congratulations to both of you." Bobby and Athena said to me and Eddie.

"You better not hurt him. You know, even if we are in the same team, it doesn't mean we tolerate any fighting between you two." Gen warned him.

"Alright, alright." Eddie raised both of his hands.

"So..." Chris spoke. "I have two dads?" He asked.

"Yeah. Are you happy?" Eddie lowered down so he was facing Christopher.

"This is gonna be fun!!" He exclaimed and threw his arms around Eddie.

I lowered down and hugged them both.

"Thank you for accepting me as a part of your family." I whispered.

"You have always been a part of our family, Buck." Christopher said.

Eddie and I got up.

"Group hug, everyone! Group hugs!" I shouted and we all compressed and hugged.

I could already see our future together. We would make more memories in this house. With the three of us, with all them, our family and what life is gonna look like with him always by my side.

Everything that had happened from this day, would always be the highlight of my life.

It all happened in just one day, moving in together, having a new house, us getting engaged and having all of them to see it all.

— EDDIE'S P.O.V —

- After dinner -

"So, fiance..." Buck called me as I was cleaning the table.

We just finished eating dinner and after celebrating, they all decided to go home and have a rest.

I chuckled and said, "Do you like my surprises, so far?"

"Ohhh, I love it." He wrapped his hands around my waist.

"I'm glad." I smiled and wrapped my hands around his neck and we started to dance, slow.

I gave him a peck on the lips and said, "I'm going to put Christopher in bed, it's past his bedtime."

"Oh, come on. It's saturday tomorrow, let him enjoy our new house." He whined.

"Oh, I get it.. good cop," I pointed at him. "Bad cop." I said as I pointed at myself.

"We'll switch soon. Especially, when it's past his bedtime and he has school the next day." He said. "For now, let's enjoy this."

"Okay." I said as he put a grin on his face. "But first, let's clean up this table."

I pulled away from his touch and went to continue cleaning the table, just a seconds later, he also joined me.

Buck and I washed the dishes as Christopher was watching TV.

When we finished the dishes Christopher was already in his room sleeping, so Buck and I went to our bedroom.

We spent our time cuddling with each other, as he was also staring at the silver ring that I gave.

After a few minutes we both drifted to sleep in each other's arms.
