-A few days later-
- BUCK'S P.O.V -
"Hey, Eddie. It's my first day back to work, you said you're gonna give me a ride. Just in case you forgot." I was talking to him over the phone.
"I'm on my way, Buck." He said.
"Okay, I'll wait for you." I said and hung up.
Eddie and I made it official- our relationship, I mean. We already told Christopher everything, and it turns out he knew that I like his father and his father likes me. He said he didn't tell either of us because he wanted it to come from us. But, the 118 still don't know about us. they know that Eddie and I started hanging out these past few days but they didn't know it was all a date.
Whenever we go out together, with or without Christopher he always buys flowers for me. Sweet, I know. This is not the relationship that I expected when I was planning on confessing to him that day. I thought that he would ignore me or he would friend zone me, but instead he confessed first and turns out I was wrong, he also... likes me. Whenever I think of that day, the day we both confessed, I smiled. Even Christopher loves having me around all the time, he loves me as his father's boyfriend.
Someone knocked on the door. That could be him. I immediately ran to the door and opened it. A handsome man who I've been crushing on since we became friends was on my doorstep- Eddie.
"Hey, Buckaroo." He smiled and hugged me and pulled away.
"You know, the first time I heard you call me that, we were standing right here." I held his hand, "But the last time you were in your uniform and you were drunk." I chuckled.
"Really?" He had a smirk on his face.
"You don't remember anything that night?" I asked.
"Let's get to the car." He said and pulled me.
"So you do remember what happened. I knew it!" I yelled while he was pulling me outside and he just laughed.
I got inside of his car.
"Hey, Buck!" I heard Christopher greeted me from the backseat.
I looked at Eddie and back to Chris, "Hey, Chris. Didn't know you're not in school yet." I glared at Eddie.
"What?" He smiled. "He wants to see you first, give you a big hug before work."
"And school starts in.." I looked at my watch, "Fifteen minutes."
"It's okay, Buck. At least I got to see you first." Chris smiled at me.
"Seatbelts, boys." Eddie said as he started the car.
"All set." Christopher said excitedly from the back seat.
I smiled and put on my seatbelt.
"How about you, babe?" I saw a smirk on his face as he was buckling up.
"All set." I replied.
He started the car and drove off. We stopped by at Christopher's school to drop him off. I got out of the car and helped him get his things, as he said he gave me a hug and whispered, "I love you, Buck."
I smiled. I pulled away and whispered to him, "I love you too, Chris. Have a good day."
Eddie also got out and we watched as Christopher walked inside the school.
"Let's go?" He lent out his hand.
"Let's go." I smiled and took his hand.
We got in his car and drove to the firehouse. When we arrived, we got out and changed our clothes.
