It has been 6 days since Virat had officially joined Amruta's company as the CEO. After the first two days, Amruta had successfully managed to stay out his way except for when the two team meetings were called. Other than that, she had forwarded some data & plans to him on mail and he had responded through the same means. Although, she had caught him staring at her with anger when she countered his suggestion in the meeting. He looked pissed but did not say anything beyond his professional capacity.

Her family was back to Gurgaon by then and Amruta was excited to go home after work as her mother was supposed to make her favorite Pooranpoli. She felt herself salivating at the thought of it. That night, she had a very fulfilling dinner with her family. After which she went to the balcony for some time to enjoy the cool breeze. She saw Virat in the terrace garden of their penthouse. He was reading a book when someone dressed in a black & white attire came to him with a cup of coffee. Amruta understood he must be the domestic help of the Ahuja's. That meant they had officially shifted now. She did not fret about it much and went back inside.

Next day they were informed that there was a society meeting at 11 am and the meeting was to to take place in the new penthouse, the home of the Ahuja's. She was bewildered as to why would meeting be held at the home of the newest residents of the society. She went to the meeting with her mother. The grandeur and beauty of the place was impressive but Amruta has expected nothing less. She took her seat alongside others. Mrs. Ahuja addressed the meeting, "Thank you all for coming on such a short notice. This meeting has been called to inform you all that I, Mrs Babita Ahuja, has been appointed as the new Secretary of the Society." Amrita was confused as anyone who just shifted cannot become the secretary. She asked, "Ma'am, but the rules of the society says that one must reside in the society for atleast 2 years before they can become the secretary."

Babita knew someone or the other would ask her the question, "That is right but as you know exceptions are a part of life and this is an exceptional case. The last secretary is a known of mine and he was abosultely insistent that I take this position as he is shifting to Dubai in 5 days."

"But ma'am, the board of trustees need to inform everyone in advance before selecting a new secretary and we did not receive any such notice"

"Beta, everything happened in such short notice. I think the board will send intimation today. Don't worry, I wi-"

Virat came from the backwards and interrupted his mother by saying, "Let it be, Mom. You do not need to give her any explaination. She has a habit of arguing." He looked at Amruta, "Miss Banker, don't forget I am you boss and this is my mom"

"Oho Virat, stop pestering the poor girl all the time.", Babita told her son.

Amruta started to respond but her mother chided her saying,  "Ammu, let it be na, Stop arguing. It does not matter." "Fine, maa". Soon, the meeting was over and everyone started to leave. Once Amruta reached the ground floor, she realised she has forgotten her phone in the penthouse. She asked her mom to continue home while she sent to get her phone. When she went there, no one was in sight. But her phone was kept on the chair she was sitting. She went inside and picked it up. Just when she was leaving, she heard Virat's voice, "What are you doing her alone?"

She turned to look at him and said, "I came to get my phone which I forgot to take after the meeting dispersed."

"How do I know you did not come here for anything else?"

"What? What else would I come for? Haan?", she glared at Virat.

"I don't know. Maybe you came for spying on me or you wanted-"

"I don't have time for this.", Amruta interrupted him and turned towards the door.

She took a few steps but was pulled by strong hands. Her back Virat's hard chest and she felt Virat turning her to face him.

"What is this? Just leave me." she tried to free her hands from Virat's but his grip was too strong for her.

"How dare you walk away from me when I was talking to you? Don't forget I am your boss and I can punish you for your misbehavior." Virat said without leaving her hands. He was clearly enjoying making her mad.

Amruta was trying not to focus on how close they were standing to each other but for some reason she was very aware of the close proximity between them. The irritation and anger from her eyes were gone and were now replaced with helpnessness. She was so scared of anyone seeing them like this. They would assume something else entirely. All she could whisper was," Sir"

Virat noticed the change in her demeanour and let her hands go. Before he could say anything, Amruta dashed out of the door. Just then his mother called out to him and informed him that their family's Kulguru was coming to their home in one hour. Virat did not have faith in this stuff. He was a believer in God but not he did not believe that human beings can forsee the future or provide any solution relating to the future. But, the elders in his family belived it and his mom was an ardent devotee of their Kulguru. So, Virat respected their belief and never did anything to disrespect their Kulguru

The Ahuja family welcomed the Kulguru and he offered them his blessings. They consulted him for their helath, business and what not. He saw all their hands and guided them as to what they should do or things they should avoid. Virat silently observed everything hoping he would escape from this. But, Babita was not going to forget her son! She called Virat forward and show his right hand to Guruji. Virat did not want to want to disregard Guruji , so he sat down infront of him and showed him his hand.

"This kid has a very bright future. I can see he would take his business to lengths you would not have imagined.", he said. Babita smiled proudly at her son. He went to say a few other positive things for Virat but suddenly his expression turned grave. He looked up towards Virat's face and then back to his hand. His expression was still the same and he did not say a word.

"What happened, Guruji?  Is there a problem? Please tell us.", Babita said worriedly.

"I can see Virat being in grave danger in the coming months. Something fatal is coming towards him."

Babita felt herself loosing control over her body at the very sound of those words. She just fell down on the couch. She could not process what she just heard. Before she could ask anything else she heard the Guruji say, "There is something that can be done to avert the impending peril. Virat needs to get married within the next two weeks.". He closed his eyes and began to concentarte again, "The bride's name should start with the letter A."

"But Guruji, I cannot get married now. I just cannot. And how am I supposed to find a girl I want to marry in 2 weeks?? It is just not possible!", Virat protested keeping his voice as calm as possible but he could not conceal his anxiety.

"You have to beta. Your life is in question here. I would not suggest something so extreme had there been any other way. You need to be married with the girl whose horoscope will protect you from the danger." He turned to Babita and said, "I shall return after 10 days. Get the horoscopes of the propects by then. I would see them & select the best one for Virat. Babita was too stunned to ask anything and simply nooded.

After their Kulguru left, Virat had an argument with his mother over this. There was no way that Virat would do this, whereas, it was Babita's life mission now to find the suitable girls whose name started with the letter A. Babita would go to any lengths to protect her son.
