Since the day she was born, Leila never got the chance to make decisions about her life.

It's just how it goes little one. Her father would explain when she'd always be the one to question his choices regarding their upbringing.

But it never was enough for her. Her sister however learned from a very young age that it'd be the best to obey their father. She on the other hand never made her piece with it.

Always a rebel, always her father's headache, black sheep or whatever you call it, she never lost her wild spirit.

And now she asked herself: Was it wild at all or was it just normal?

Losing her mother at young age only made things more complicated. But still, when things weren't fair, Leila knew how to express her opinion.

She was the loudest and unfortunately the only one who objected the marriage of her sister.

It didn't help. Angie agreed to it.

And now, when it came down to her own life, after everything, she still had a fight in her.

She quickly realized that her father is gone. The time has finally come for her to make her own decisions.

She was sitting with others in that living room and was unusually silent while all three women were discussing the next move regarding the situation with Cartel.

-"I can't believe this is my life." -Melanie said, her face dived deep into her hands.

-"You tell me. I have trouble falling asleep just thinking about losing Drew every night." -Emma expressed her concern.

-"My husband was literally dead until this morning." -Angie cut them both, still angry at Jasons' proposition to go after Cartel.

And then all of them looked at Leila expecting her to say something.

But what could she say? They all suffered. And she? She destroyed herself. Her addiction took all of her sanity.

-"Why are we still letting men make descisions which would affect OUR lives?" -she asked.

When no one said anything back she continued: -"For fucks sakes look at us! Angie, you are my sister, you know how we grew up! You never had a chance to decide for yourself!" -she said before she turned to Emma and Melanie: -"And you two?? You're just crazy to put up with all of this!"

Emma and Melanie looked at eachother. Deep down they knew Leila was right. But still, they were there.

-"Leila..." -Emma calmly said before she sat down next to her. -"I hear you. You never had a choice, that I understand. But honey...you can't choose who you love. You just do."

-"Well..." -Leila stood up getting ready to leave them there: -"Maybe I don't share the same problem with you." -she said on her way out of the room.

-"She's in such a denial that it's not even funny anymore." -Melanie said alluding to Leilas situation with Dylan.

-"They both are. And it's been lasting for 3 years that if they were a tv show it'd be fucking seasons and seasons of this love you -hate you nonsence. It became too hard to follow and too tiring to even watch." -Angie concluded.

-"It's time for Leila to grow up." -she added.

-"It's time for Leila to sober up first." -Emma said. -"Look at her. She's an addict. Are we really gonna let her drink her life away?! Screw the Cartel thing...that one" -Emma said as she pointed to the door Leila just left through..-"needs a rehab."

-"I know...but how? How are we going to tell her that? She'll say we're putting her in yet another prison. Didn't you hear all of that monologue about decisions and choices? It needs to come from her." -Angie sighed.

-"We need to talk to Dylan...he's being so hard on her, it's not easy to live with that amount of guilt." -Melanie said.

-"She needs to know that we love her and we only want whats best for her." -Emma added.

-"Yeah tinkerbell...and the wizard will come and with his magic stick will erase all of her problems." -Melanie was sarcastic.

-"Maybe she needs some magic stick after all...if you know what I mean." -Emma chuckled and Angie cringed.

-"You're right Melanie...we need to talk to Dylan." -Emma jokingly added.

Angie rolled her eyes. -"She's right...you both are crazy."

-"Angie...it's just a joke." -Emma calmly said.

-"Yeah. And we can all use a little laugh." -Melanie agreed.

-"So, before we make any decision, Leila's health needs to be our top priority." -Emma concluded and they all agreed.

But what they didn't took into consideration is the fact that Leila left that room some time ago and was now packed and ready to leave for LA. She didn't plan to say anything to anyone about it since they'd try to stop her by force or other.

Dylan expressed loud and clear his opinion of her that afternoon.

It was over for her. Now she only needs to clean that mess her father left.

She'll sign those papers and be done with it. She'll not let Jason or anyone make that decision for her.

And then she'll go far away. Without looking back.

That was the grand plan.

She took one of the cars parked in front of the house and was on her way to the airport.

Fools...she thought...

I was already imprisoned in my own mind anyway.
