It was early in the morning when they arrived to Dylan's penthouse. Leila almost fell asleep in the plane and she was so tired. She was tired of fighting. Her whole life was a battle. First with her father, then with Julian and now? Is she going to fight Dylan too?

Maybe some other day.

All she wanted now is to sleep.

That little drop of decency remaning in Dylan is what showed her her room. Or a jail cell. With astonishing view however.

-"Don't worry about the windows. No one can see you." -he explained noticing her discomfort.

-..."Only me." -he continued. -"Every room in this apartment is equiped with surveliance." -he pointed towards the small dot in the ceiling.

Videocamera.

She furrowed her eyebrows.

-"Really?" -she was annoyed. -"You really think I'll sleep here now?!"

-"You will." -he lowered his voice. -"Don't give me the reason to check out the cameras and you'll be fine."

She rolled her eyes.

-"And to think that you're the guy that was talking about freedom."- she huffed.

-"Ever since Jason died I came to reliaze that security is far more important."

She said nothing back. What's more to talk about? They're clearly different people. Both of them changed. Or the life did it for them.

On his way out he said: -"Call your sister, she's been worried sick."

Hearing Angie's voice always calmed Leila, but today it seemed...different. She thought Angie wouldn't have any of this. How can she allow this? Her own sister being the prisoner? But all she could hear now were Angie's words coming through the wire before Leila hung up the phone...

It's for your own good Leila, we need to keep you safe. Dylan is keeping you safe! Why do you always need to rebel?

It appeared not even her own sister had any understanding for her situation. But Leila also wonderd was she the one being cruel?  Angie lost her husband and still Leila's been the one nagging the most.

Days passed, not a sight of Dylan. She knew he was around, coming late at night and leaving early in the morning but still she didn't get to see him. She was all alone. Not even guards surrounding the apartment spoke to her.

But she had time to think. Or to blame herself.

She was angry, mad and regretful at the same time. After a week she couldn't even look at herself in the mirror.

All she thought about was if she did anything different, could she've saved them? Could she save Jason, could she save Julian?

Maybe if she spoke to her father at that time, if she pleaded with him to spare Jasons life. Maybe if she promised that....

The thoughts were driving her crazy, hunting her even in her dreams.

But mostly she thought about Jax. That little boy that she loved more than anyone who lost his dad in such a way....she couldn't bare the sorrow. It was as if only now she got the time to....break.

She didn't allow herself to cry before and now it felt as if she spent all of the tears she had in her.

She went back to drinking. Empty bottles were only thing that made her forget. Only thing that helped her sleep.

Then one morning she heard the knock on her bedroom doors.

-"Leila...are you up?" It was Emma.

She put on a robe and opened the door. Her hair a mess, her eyes as if they didn't catch a good rest in a while. She immediately saw that look on Emma's face. She pitied her. And Leila hated it.

Emma looked around the room. Leila shuted the drapes and the day was beautiful. So Emma opened them letting the sun in, picking up the bottles from around the bed.

-"This is not you." -she finally spoke. -"This is not Leila I know."

-"It appears like no one knows me anymore." -Leila said.

-"Leila don't!" -Emma yelled back to her. -"We only want what's best for you. Why are you turning us into your enemies?" -she asked.

-"Well, am I not? Am I not you enemy?" -Leila looked around the room. -"Isn't this my torture chamber? Isn't this some kind of twisted revenge for my betreyal?"

Emma furrowed her eyebrows. -"Is that what you think?"

Leila said nothing.

-"Well, if it is so, why are you trying to kill yourself with booze?" -Emma asked. -"You can't fucking erase your mistakes with alcohol for God's sake!"

-"What would you want me to do Emma? I can't do shit here. I'm trapped, no one talks to me. I think I'm going insane. I see Julian at night in the corner of this room, smiling. He's hunting me. He's not letting me sleep and when he finally does I dream about Jason. And Dylan!!" -Leila started to laugh. -"Dylan hates me. He hates my fucking guts so much that he doesn't even..." -she stopped for a second and sat on the bed. -"I don't even see him." -she whisperes. And the she looks on the cieling where the camera is.

-"Well...do you want to see him?" -Emma sat right next to her, grabbing her hand in hers.

-"I don't know." -Leila wiped down the tear from her cheek. -"We both did things we can't forgive."

-"You need to confront him Leila! After all, he was your friend." -Emma said.

He was more than that, Leila thought. He was always more.

-"I'm sorry to say this but you need to get your shit together Leila. No one is going to do it for you." -Emma added opening the door to leave.

-"It's easy for you to say..." -Leila's words made Emma turn from the door staring back at her.

-"Easy for me?! We went to hell and back for you! Drew is driving around the city day and night trying to find information about the fucking Cartel that's after YOU and every night I wait for him not knowing if he'll get back to me alive!"

Leila shut her eyes. The guilt was all to much for her to handle. -"Leave me alone." -she said.

-"When you're done feeling sorry for yourself, give me a call." -Emma said as she shut the door behind her.
