-"Glad you could make it."- Julian shook the hand of a gentleman in his 40s with what appeares to be his wife under his arm.

-"Always good to see you, Delilah."- he said as he turned over to the woman and she smiled.

-"We thought lovely miss Leila would be here tonight, Julian." -the man sad.

Leila spent her whole afternoon in her room trying to deciade if she'll attend this dinner or not. After many hours of back and forth she finally deciaded that she'll do this one for Julian so that she could talk to her sister. Just to tell her that she's fine if nothing else.

So she took a bath and when she went to her bedroom she noticed beautiful short heart-shaped red dress with pockets laying on top of her bed.
Might as well, she thought, taking off her robe and trying it on.

She combed her hair and put on a red lipstick and went downstairs. She entered the living room just as they were about to have a drink.

Upon seeing her, Julian couldn't hide his surprise.

-"This must be her. Good God Julian how did you ever score this one huh?"- the man punched Julian on the shoulder while joking and took a few steps forward so that he may be properly introduced. The woman was just behind him, smiling and nodding approving Julians choice.

-"Uncle Robert, Delilah, this is my fiancee, Leila Reins." -Julian introduced her to their guests.

-"Nice to meet you."- she said and smiled while letting Julian take her hand.

She looked ravisihing. Beautiful. Just perfect. And her mannerism were more than he could ever hope for. He was more than satisfied with her tonight.

They sat down into dinning room to have dinner.

-"So Leila" -Delilah started...-"Julian didn't tell us much about you."

Of course he didn't. What can he say beside the fact that he kidnapped her to marry her so he could secure his position at the west...he wouldn't say that and yet that's the only thing he knew. That and her name.

-"I'm curently studying medicine on NYU." -she said and he was as much surprised as them.

-"Really?" -Delilah said. -"How exciting." -she smiled.

-"That's interesting. NYU huh? That's far from Sacramento." -his uncle said and took a sip of his wine.

Leila looked at Julian and raised her eyebrows. Sacramento, interesting.

He noticed her victory stare and coughed. -"The distance is not a problem when people love eachother. Don't you think so Leila?"- he asked looking straight into her eyes.

-"I would argue that neither is the time."- she said and he looked at her wondering what did she meant by that.

-"Nevertheless, you two are a beautiful couple. When's the wedding?"- Delilah asked.

-"As soon as my fiancee finishes her college. We're in no hurry, right honey?" -Julian asked.

She was dumbfounded. Like he'd allow her to finish her school or even work after that.

-"We have all the time in the world."- she agreed.

-"Oh, and wait until you have kids!" -uncle mentiones the subject they hadn't talk about. Why would they? Everybody knows that people need to have sex to have kids. She had no intention of going that far with him, although judging from the incident this afternoon, she couldn't be sure that it won't happen one way or another.

She grew pale wiping down her lips with napkin and than gulping down her glass of wine. Noticing her discomfort, Julian said: -"We're both very young still, there is a plenty of time to have children later."

Even though everything about this dinner was fake, Leila was still grateful to Julian for that answer. She smiled.

-"Of course, but surely you've thought about children. How many would you want to have?"- Delilah asked.

-"One of each." -they both answered at the same time.

Leila blushed and Julian just looked at her, again surprised.

-"You've thought this through I see. I'm glad."

-"So Leila do you see yourself working in the future? You are aware that Julian has more than enough money for everythinflg you'll ever need in life, I'm sure." -Delilah asked.

Leila felt like she was on some kind of fucked up talk show. And the fake one nontheless. She took her time to give a perfect answer, but Julian replied instead: -"If she wants to work. I don't see a reason why not."

He surprised her again. Now she found herself looking at him as if she just met him. It's all just an act. It has to be an act.

She smiled politely. -"Thank you honey for such a support."

To anyone who doesn't know the truth they seemed like a perfect couple.

Finally, after a few hours of pretending to be a lovely couple, they saw their guests leaving. They waved them goodbye huging at the front door.

As soon as their car left the property she backed away from him and said: -"Your cellphone please."
