-"You don't actually think that I'll let you go by yourself?" -that afternoon Dylan went to talk to Jason alone.

-"You will. It's my son that we need to worry about. We need to get him to Angie safely."

-"We'll get you both to Angie safely." -Dylan was persistant.

Jason laughed. -"You know me all my life. When did I fail to defeat my enemies? I'm not Nick."

Dylan frowned upon hearing his friend mentioning his brother. Jason rarely talked about him.

-"I've been thinking about him lately." -Jason said and continued: -"How cruel life can be. Gone at such young age. He never chose this life, it was expected of us to continue our fathers business. I can not do the same for my son, Dylan. I can not allow my son to end up like his uncle. Or worse, like his father."

-"If you sacriface yourself Jason then your son will end up like John Reins. Is that what you want?!" -Dylans eyes grew wide in anger.

-"No Dylan. I want my son to be like you." -Jason smiled.

For the first time after years Dylan saw his friend smile like this. Honest smile that reminded him of the time they were carefree boys.

-"Like me?? I'm like you, maybe a tad nicer." -Dylan joked.

-"You have a good heart Dylan. I've seen it through the years. Even with Leila I've seen it. You let her go because she needed to be free. I never done that with Angie nor would I even if I had the chance."

-"And look how that turned out." -Dylan huffed. -"She was free until she wasn't and is now parading all over Sacramento with this Hart idiot. Who the fuck is he anyway??"

-"An opportunist. Started from the bottom. Made a quite reputation for himself. Arms, men...money. He even has connections with cartel." -Jason said. -"I am not scared of the fucker but he is worthy of an enemy, that much I know." -Jason explained.

Worthy....is he worthy of her? Dylan wondered.

-"I still don't get it why she is with him." -Dylan said.

-"Well...we know she hates me. Probably would do anything to get rid of me." -Jason smirked.

-"You think? After everything?" -Dylan was in disbelief.

-"She asked me in Costa Rica...she asked if I regret it, do I feel guilty. She wouldn't ask if she doesn't resent me still."

-"But she loves Jax. She'd never do this." -Dylan said.

-"Jax dissappearence had nothing to do with Leila or this Hart motherfucker. It was all John Reins doing and will be finished tonight." -Jason was sure of it.

-"Then what are we going to do with Leila?" -Dylan asked thinking about everything.

-"With Leila, nothing. But you'll have to deal with this Hart guy." -Jason explained.

-"You shouldn't go alone. I know you're only thinking of Jax but Reins wouldn't do anything to harm him. Jax is after all his grandchild. And more importantly, he must be seeing the boy as an heir or why else would he take him?" -Dylan went back to the main problem.

-"I can't gamble with my sons life Dylan."

-"You are really going to do that, aren't you? You are going there unarmed and alone to be killed. Angie will never forgive you."

-"She'd also never forgive me if I came back to her without our son. Now, sit and have a drink with me." -Jason poured his friend a glass of hard scotch from the table.

...

It was almost six o'clock when Jason arrived at the adress that Leila gave to Angie. It was just outside of the city, hidden in the mountains, no wonder he couldn't find it by himself. It was probabily guarded by an army of Reins men, but Jason didn't saw any of them.
