Amaris POV

Time passed swiftly, and I found myself as the team captain. I had to dedicate extra practice hours, especially overnight, in order to perfect Xeri's dance moves and routines. Fortunately, I was a quick and competent learner, so the process didn't become difficult for me.

Then the big game arrived the day after tomorrow.

As the cheer captain, I stood at the center of a spirited crowd, watching my hardworking team of cheerleaders deliver their choreographed performance we've been practicing for days.

Our energetic and uplifting cheers spurred our volleyball players on as they battled for victory on the court. The crowd was buzzing with excitement and enthusiasm, cheering and clapping as we cheered on the players.

I led the team with a strong voice and confident demeanor, leading them in cheer after cheer as we proudly represented our school.

Ace Attackers (Ryo's) vs
Smash Sharks (Maven's)

The red jersey players were from Ryo's team while the blue jersey players are from Maven's team.

Nakaupo kami sa pinakamalapit na bleachers ng court, kung saan lahat ay nagche-cheer para sa team ni Maven, na represented sa school namin. Habang ako sumisigaw sa pangalan ni Ryo.

"Let's go Ace Attackers! Let's go baby Ryo!" I yelled from the top of my lungs.

"Langgya! Traydor oh!" rinig kong sabi ni Lovely na ikinatawa ng iba.

Ngumuso ako.

Nag-serve si Ryo at malakas akong sumigaw nang walang nakareceive non sa kabilang team. One point from my baby!

Paunang round pa lang pero nagpakitang gilas na agad ang Ace Attackers. Sa madaling salita, hindi malabong sila ang mag-uwi ng championship trophy.

"Galing mo Ryo! Sa'yo lang ako kakalampag!" I shouted more, one point for their team, again.

Ryo wasn't looking at my direction but I could see his lips twitched. He leaned forward and crouched down, grabbing his knees as he breathed heavily. His gaze was eyeing intently on his teammates, narrowing his eyes to scan the area, observing every actions.

My knees melted at the sight. Mayroon ding taga ibang school ang nakakapansin kay Ryo kaya grabe nalang kung makapagcheer sila sa bebe ko, dinaig pa ang soon-to-be girlfriend.

Well, I can't blame them for fawning over him. Ryohei is indeed quite an eye candy.

"Boyfriend ko 'yan!" proud na sabi ko, mas lalong nilakasan para marinig ng mga students mula sa kabilang school.

Sigurado ako na narinig iyon ni Ryo dahil hindi naman kami masyadong nagkakalayo, pero mas lalong lumawak ang ngiti ko nang hindi siya nakipagprotesta o nakipagtalo sa sinigaw ko.

Fake it, til you make it.

"Bida-bida si ate, tinapos agad ang pila, hmp!"

"Totoo? Baka fake news 'yan?"

"Uso uminom ng anti-delulu pills!"

Rinig ko ang pagtutol nila. Lumingon ako sa kabilang bleachers at inirapan sila.

"Let's go Ishikawa!"

Another point from Ace Attackers.

"Ipanalo mo ang pagmamahal ko!"

One point, again.

"Ryouhei galingan mo!" I giggled.
