Chase was walking up the street to the Lookout and saw that some parts of the area felt the same and different. Chase walked to the garage and saw a young teenager was working on his atv.
"It's been a while, Chase" Ryder said, getting up.
"Yup" Chase said.
"Your pup house is still here" Ryder said.
"Didn't have the courage to replace me?" Chase said.
"You were the pup we needed Chase" Ryder said.
Ryder and Chase unpacked his bags and Chase said "You go do your thing, I'll do it myself".
"Ok, just call me when you need me" Ryder said, as he left.
Chase was just thinking that maybe some things would be the same or they would be different, Chase looked at a photo on his wall and placed it in his bag. Chase was begging that not much would change so Chase stayed inside his dog house for half an hour and then came out to get some fresh air. When Chase opened the door he saw Skye and they couldn't say anything for a moment but Skye spoke first and said "Hey, Chase".
"Hey Skye, I'm sorry for running away before I could respond but I must hear what you were going to say" Chase said.
"Ryder, didn't tell you?" Skye asked.
"Tell me what?" Chase asked.
Skye led the way to her pup house and opened the door to reveal several puppies that looked like her and Marshall.
"I fell in love with Marshall when you were gone" Skye said.
Chase could feel the anger but he released it and said "I'm happy for you two, I bet you'll make great parents". Chase then went back to his dog house and closed the door and pulled out all the photos of him and Skye and went deep into the woods and started a fire and pulled out all the photos and burned them. Chase felt himself being like a gun he fired and he missed, when Chase returned to the Lookout it was twilight. Chase went over to the cliff and sat on the edge of it and Chase closed his eyes to clear his mind, and soon a few footsteps came by.
"Are you mad?" Marshall asked.
"A little but I know better than to take my anger out on someone or something" Chase said, as he opened his eyes.
"It just happened" Marshall said.
"Can we not talk about your love life?" Chase said, taking deep breaths.
"Sure....What have you been doing, over the last three years?" Marshall asked Chase.
"Got drunk the first few days and realized that I shouldn't do that because no drink or anything can heal my wounds. Got a good job that helped me fix mistakes I made, made some friends and someone that was more" Chase said.
"So you got better?" Marshall asked Chase.
"Yeah, the humans and dog were probably the one who helped me the most, but I felt something else when I was there" Chase said.
"I'm just curious, did you fall for one pup in that work?" Marshall asked
"I think so...but some of the people I worked with weren't so helpful even got me in trouble or angry" Chase said.
"Want to talk about it?" Marshall said.
"Yeah, I had my chance to do my job I wanted, but sometimes in my dreams I hear the screams of those I shot or hurted......anyway my new job is way better I get to teach pups stuff" Chase said.
"Ok, nice to see you bro" Marshall said, as he left.
"I'm not your bro" Chase thought.
Flash back:
"AHHHHHHH!" Chase screamed.
"Tell us where are the other bases of your company, and the suffering will end" a soldier said.
"I said I don't know" Chase said.
"Very well" the soldier said, as he looked for a good knife.
The soldier then decided and pulled out his pistol and said "I've been needing some target practice". The soldier then shot the gun and an explosion went off right beside the soldier and other pups pulled Chase out of the chains.
Later:
"Chase had to take my chip so that he could talk" Sylvia argued, with the other pups.
"And we appreciate that decision agent Sylvia" Omega said.
Later:
The doors to an escape pod blew open and Chase stepped out of his escape pod and looked at where he was.
"Agent Chase isn't that the soldier who tortured you" Omega asked.
Chase growled in response to Omega's question.
"I thought so, rip him to shreds" Omega said.
Chase then ran at the soldier who tortured him and kicked him but got punched back a little bit and when the soldier was about to punch Chase's helmet Chase grabbed the fist. The soldier then used his other fist and tried to punch Chase but Chase caught it and started twisting the soldier's arms and when the shoulders broke. Chase was about to shoot the soldier but saw his team and started to give them cover fire with a grenade launcher while he approached the teams. Chase plowed through the soldiers and when he knocked off on of the soldiers helmets he saw a girl in fear.
"NOOOOO!"
Dream Ends:
"Ahh" Chase screamed.
"Chase you alright?" Skye asked.
"How'd I get here?" Chase asked.
"You've been sleeping here" Skye said, confused in her tone.
"Skye, do you have puppies?" Chase asked.
"N-n-no, why" Skye blushed.
"I dreamed we were older and you had puppies with Marshall" Chase said.
"Chase, if you want I could sleep with you, if it makes you feel any better" Skye said.
"S-sure" Chase blushed.
Skye came into Chase pup house and started to rest and Chase asked "Skye, I need to tell you something that I've been meaning to tell you for a while".
"What, is it?" Skye asked.
"Skye, I've liked you for a long time, but if you don't feel the same I un-" Chase said as he was interrupted by Skye giving Chase a kiss on the cheek.
"I felt the same way Chase, so if you're ready I'll be your girlfriend.
"I'd love that" Chase said.
Skye then smiled and then kissed Chase and then started to makeout with Chase and Chase closed his pup house's doors so they could be happy in private.
