𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐑𝐎𝐍 𝐏𝐔𝐓 Percy into cabin three the next morning. And Cam had a funeral for him. Along with Travis and Connor.
"Quit acting like I'm dead," he told her.
"Man, it's like I can still hear him," she continued. "You will be missed. It's as if his ghost still sits next to me on the empty floor space of the Hermes cabin."
"Cam."
"I even have the blue irises I promised, I hope you like them." Cam laid the small bouquet of flowers on the makeshift dirt pile.
"I think they're nice," Travis commented.
"Thanks, Travis."
"Camille Franzer!" Percy yelled.
"What? I'm having your funeral!" She yelled back.
"I know. And it's weird. I'll still see you all the time, I just won't be sleeping next to you."
"Come on Travis, let's go inside. These two are fighting like an old married couple," Connor said as he dragged his twin back into the cabin.
"I'm all alone in cabin three. It's not like I can spar with myself. I'll spar with you. And it's already miserable enough eating dinner by myself. I preferred dangling off the bench, as long as I got to hang out with you." A blush sprouted on Cam's face. She was happy Percy had found out who is godly parent was, truly. She was just kind of hoping it was Hermes, even if she had literally betted on Poseidon.
"I betted on him," she said.
"What?"
"I betted on Poseidon. I was kind of hoping Hermes after I was determined, but... I knew the truth deep down," Cam admitted.
"Well if it makes you feel better I betted on who your mom would be," Percy told her.
"Who did you bet?"
"Aphrodite with Travis," Percy said. A blush appeared on his face.
"Oh," Cam's face got even more red. As red as a tomato. The two started walking on the trail, side by side.
"It was either that or Demeter. But you don't exactly make plants grow so much that they start covering the walls. And you're smart and athletic enough, but you don't really seem like an Athena kid to me. You're just not like Annabeth. To me that's a good thing." Cam couldn't help but laugh a little.
