Chapter 16:- Journey

It was Sunday today. Goenkas and Birlas were having lunch together.

"Everyone, hear me out," Mimi called everyone.

"Mimi, tell us what you want to say," Kairav questioned.

"Let's go to our religious place and perform the further functions of Abhi and Aaru there," Mimi suggested.

"Wow, Mimi, it's a great idea. I love that place," Aarohi exclaimed.

"What is so special about that place, Aarohi?" asked Abhimanyu.

"We all have a lot of memories there. It is a simple yet elegant place. You will enjoy it a lot," Mimi explained.

Everyone agreed with Mimi. The Goenka siblings were the happiest among all as they had many memories there. For Akshu and Aaru, that place mattered a lot because they had beautiful memories with their late parents. The Goenkas knew that well, so they used to take Akshu and Aaru twice a year to that place. And now, Aaru's marriage was there, so she was very happy.

"So, everyone will leave tomorrow morning. All your packing should be done, especially Aarohi and Abhimanyu," Harsh said sternly.

"Hanji, Harsh Ji, first everyone come to our place and then we will leave together."

Ji Manish Ji, that's right.

Everyone went home and started doing their packaging.

I am in Akshu and Aaru's room.

"Aaru, have you kept all your lehengas?"

"Yes, I'm done, Akshu."

"Have you kept your normal wear, slippers, and sandals?"

"Yes, I'm done, Akshu."

"Have you kept all your makeup and other stuff?"

"Ok, Akshu, now stop being my mother. You are telling me things as if I am a small kid and will forget something."

"Aaru, I know you very well. I am your elder sister. You must have not kept your hair accessories."

"Oh, I totally forgot about them."

"See, I told you I know you, Aaru. If I won't ask, you will surely forget something. And make sure you take care of the jewelry; it's very expensive."

"Yes, Akshu, don't worry. I will take care of it. And now I am done with my packaging."

"Have you kept your phone charger?"

"I forgot. I think you must adopt me; I am a small kid whose mother is reminding her of everything."

"That's a great idea, Aaru. When should we start with paperwork?"

"Leave it, Akshu. Have you done your packaging?"

"Yeah, I am almost done."

Whereas in Birla House, Abhimanyu's mother was helping him pack his outfits and all stuff. Abhimanyu couldn't wait for tomorrow as he would get some time to spend with Aarohi.

"Finally, Aaru and I will get our time. We both were so busy in the hospital that we couldn't spend time properly. How will we get to know each other without spending time?" Abhimanyu was thinking to himself.

Next morning,

"Aaru, Akshu, come and have breakfast. Then we have to leave," Aaru said.

"Coming, Badi Maa," Akshu and Aaru said together.

They all had breakfast.

"Have the Birlas left?" Manish asked.

"Let me call them and confirm," Kairav answered.
