As the morning sun peeked through the curtains and hit my face, I buried my face in my pillow and changed my side to protest the sun but I couldn't escape the reality knocking on my door, with a loud bang, loud enough that you cannot ever avoid. My eyes opened by the thought of the auditions for the music contract that were spinning around in my head since I became aware that they were going to happen in London, Feb 10. I stretched my arm towards the bedside table to reach for my phone, Upon successfully grabbing it without looking at the table, I considered it quite an accomplishment in the morning. With eyes not properly opening, I wasn't surprised they opened the widest when the mobile screen came to live with all its colors. The real surprise came when I checked the date and time on my home screen. IT WAS FEBRUARY 10 AND IT WAS 11 IN THE MORNING. Not so surprisingly the next thought followed by it was the auditions which were at sharp 12 and I just woke up at 11. I went to the bathroom and wore my black skinny jeans and a bomber jacket, all black. Next thing was just some sunscreen and lipstick. Rushing to the kitchen, I grabbed a granola bar and I went out the apartment door to walk to the studio. I didn't had a car but I was okay with that. As I walked past the studio gates, I was greeted by guards and then led to the waiting room, alongside me were the many faces that wanted the same thing as I did but only one of us was getting it. ''Landla Ellen, you're up'' The old man yelled. I got up and walked through the glass doors and into the Managers office, I noticed all the record company's CEO, managers, and in short, the men with the highest posts sitting and waiting for me to say my name and so I did. ''Very well, now what are you going to sing?'' The CEO asked. ''I am going to sing something I made up myself, this summer''

'Always in the dime light, looking afar to see a brighter light but they go unnoticed and I never noticed the dime light could shine so bright if only it stopped looking for a brighter force and focused on its own. You never know what you can do until its donnnneeeeeee but I-'

''You may drop your number and name, Jhonny here will usher you to the other room''

''Thank You'' I said politely

As I walked to the other room to drop my number and name, I could hear them say ''She's good'' as I closed the door behind me.

4 DAYS AFTER:

Making Mexican Taco didn't seem like a task to me after years of mastering the art of making the taco, It was if I was born with the ability to make a taco and after all, my love for tacos was endless. As I poured the sauce over the taco and picked it up. My phone rang. ''Damn it!'' I wove through my living room mess and reached my phone. ''Hello?'' I said, annoyed. ''Hello, is this Landla Ellen speaking?'' ''Yes?'' ''Congartulations, You've been selected for the music contract, please drop by the studio tomorrow at 11 AM sharp'' And then she hung up. I put the phone back on the table and screamed the loudest I could, which was followed by a little celebration dance, which only lasted for 2 minutes until I remembered about the taco on my kitchen table.

5 YEARS AFTER:

I looked down the airplane window and felt the need for sleep while my brain even in all its sleepy-ness, admired the view. Travelling around the world and meeting my fans and making them happy was by job and I absolutely loved every bit of it, in the start I did have an urge to become a millionaire and make money fast but when I did, I didn't care about the money and more about the experinces I was gaining. I had made enough money to live in my mansion for a lifetime without a job but yet I did my job, I didn't had the greed of money but I had the greed of collecting new experinces. After all I was only 23.

I looked around confused as to why we were not moving anymore, I looked around and saw outside my window, only to realize we had landed and I had fallen asleep through the process. I got up and got out the plane and grabbed my fair share of fresh air. My car had already arrived with the driver, who loaded the luggage himself while I sat in the backseat ready to go home after my 6 month world tour.

As I reached home, my butler pulled out all my luggage and put it in the living room for me to assemble it in my room, since the servants were not allowed in my room, except to clean it that is. My phone rang and the caller ID 'Brad' came and I was excited to see my boyfriend calling me, thinking about how we'll be able to go out everyday now that I was London back again, I picked it up.

''Hi Lana'' Brad said. ''Hi Brad, I am finally back in London, sorry I didn't get back to your messages two or three days ago was really busy and I just came back so yeah'' ''No worries, love. Welcome back!'' He said in an excited tone. ''Thank You, I am so happy to be back and on a break'' I replied in an excited tone as well. ''And I am happy to know that you're happy, get some sleep, love, will see you soon, bye! Love you!'' He said ''Bye'' I replied back and cut the call. I jumped on the bed and closed my eyes.

My alarm woke me up for gym, early at 9. When I peeped at the clock I realized I had been asleep since 14 hours and I thought it was fair since it was after 6 months. I changed my clothes and wore a black full sleeved turtle neck and a high waist light blue jean, in the back of my mind I had a thought that these weren't the perfect clothes for gym but it was cold and I didn't wanted to freeze to death.
