''Open the damn door!''

''Wait!!'' I yell at jenny.

''Okay, sorry about that, so I am finally here , you know the way right?'' I ask her trying to cover up the fact that I got out of my house late.

''Yeah of course, you look pretty though''

''Thanks! you too'' I say politely

The rest of the car ride is smooth and quite partly because we're listening to the radio.

''We're here'' Jenny says while parking the car

We get out of the car and walk towards the gate of the mansion, it looks crowded but then again this house is so huge I don't think the crowd is going to be a problem.

''Hello pretty ladies!''

''Hello James! This is Lana and Lana this is James'' Jenny introduces us both to each other

''Oh Lana, nice to meet you, I've heard lot about you'' James says to me with a smirk

''Well depends which source you've been hearing those things from because you know, at the end of the day, most of it isn't true'' I say to him seriously

''When someone is as famous and pretty as you are, they're obviously going to make some rumors about you..why don't you ladies have a drink? By the way sometimes the rumors are true, correct me if I am wrong'' James says looking into my deep into eyes

''Sometimes and yeah, I don't drink''

''You wha-''

''Surprises me every time'' Jenny says laughingly

''Well ladies, nice talking to you but you know I have to greet and meet the others guest, grab a seat, will you? Make yourself comfortable'' James says while going away

''So..what do you think?'' Jenny asks me

''Well his grey eyes are beautiful, he's handsome but I don't know what he meant by the 'rumor' talk'' I say in a confused look

''I think he was probably indirectly pointing out about the Brad rumors and how you cheated on him, you know the story he's been telling everyone, Lana, that man is making your image into a bad one, you should do something about it'' Jenny tells me seriously

'' And what is it that I should do?'' I ask her bluntly

''Look Lana, go out there and show them that you're not the person he's talking about, you know this cheating girl, I don't want you to talk to Brad, that man is not worth it''

''Jen, this whole relationship, you know I realize it now. It was never 'worth it'. I wish I knew. I am just going to let him talk as much as he can. How can the people care so much about a man even I no longer care about, you know''

''Yeah, just upsets me but I think you're right, eventually he'll move on and so will you. You know when you get a new injury, the blood gushes out and its all so painful but as time passes it starts to heal and after some months/years/days there is nothing but a scar and at times even the scar fades away''

''Yeah you're right, thanks for making me feel better, you're the best really''

''Aw no need to than-'' ''Well well well, still no drink?'' James says like his sole aim is to get us a drink at this party

''I think you ladies are on a diet and trying to hide it!'' James says laughingly

'I am not and so isn't she but there's no drink in your hand mister so maybe you're the one who's on the diet'' I say to James, giggling.

''Oh woah you're actually right, I was so busy I actually forgot to get a drink myself!''

James grabs a seat and sits down in front of me and Jenny.

''So jenny how's the career going? Do you like the party?''

''The career is good and yeah the party is good James''

''You know this guy Max he was asking for yours and Lana's number but I didn't gave him but then I remembered that I don't even have Lana's'' James laughed

''Is James indirectly asking for my friends number? Hmm?'' Jenny says smirking at James

''No No but yeah maybe yes, I have got to say Lana, you're really beautiful'' James chuckled

''Thank You!'' I said laughing.

''Okay so you both get up! Its time to make it feel like a party and not some boring café hangout!'' James says giggling

''Wait..what time is it?'' I say seriously

''Its time to party! Duh'' James says laughing.

''No I mean seriously?''

''Wait.Let me check. Oh its 11:00''

''Oh my God! I have to get home at 10 I have work in the morning'' I yelled

''Oh yeah you're right, sorry James we've got to get going its getting late'' Jenny says seriously.

''But the party just got started!'' James protested

''Sorry James but it was nice to meet you'' I say politely

''It was nice to meet you too, Lana, okay bye guys'' James says waving at us.

We walk out of the mansion and rush towards the car. Jenny starts the car and I lean back on my seat, exhausted and tired.

Drinking tea and enjoying the sunshine. I look over to my phone and realize that its ringing. I pick it up and it's my manager, John, telling me that there is going to be my interview after two days. I think about all the possible bad things that could happen at the interview and about the interviewer could ask me about the latest rumors and how I'll probably break down in front of the whole world when they called out the name Brad. As I think of all the negative things that could happen in this interview, I hear footsteps behind me so I turn around only to see Liam coming towards me. ''Hello Miss, was passing by your management office so I thought why not ask my friend how they're doing?'' Liam said in loud tone. ''Thank you for dropping by, I am good, what about you?'' ''I am good aswell, how is it going after your break-up? You know did Brad contact you again or anything? Did he said anything after the rumors, you know, new rumors?'' Liam asked me concerned. ''No he hasn't contacted me and yeah no, no new rumors, its all good now I suppose" I assure him.
