'Finally!' I exclaimed.
'Yeah, we made it alive' Jenny says laughingly.
Jenny threw the bags on the table and we sat down to talk about what we had just bought and drink some tea.
After the guilty fashion and jewellery obsession talks, we switch on the TV and it's not surprising at all, that my breakup with Brad is on the news!
'Wow, Look who's being himself' I said mockingly. As I see Brad on the TV.
He's a nobody, the press is only interested in him because they're interested in me and I'll let him enjoy his 15 minutes of fame.
'Talk about being ashamed, He's acting like he dumped you and is the president' Jenny said rolling her eyes.
'Turn on the volume!! I want to hear what he says!' I say sounding curious yet sad.
Jenny turned up the volume and What we're watching is Brad standing on the front of the coffee shop, surrounded by paparazzi and telling them about our 'Break-Up'.
'Yeah, we were totally in Love but Lana said that the long distance wasn't working out so we decided to split but I told her it wasn't the right thing to do so we were still a couple until I saw her with another man, really broke my heart so I suppose the right thing to do was go separate ways' Brad says in a sad tone.
'Oh My God! I can't belive this man! Wow he's got some guts but you know what I know exactly what he's doing Lana! Don't be a fool, he's trying to drag his breakup while looking the innocent guy so his fifteen minutes of fame became 20 minutes of fame, seriously how much more low can he go for money and some fame!' Jenny says so angrily and looks over at me. 'Oh and you're already crying!' Jenny says in an obvious pissed off tone.
'Im sorry, I just-I-I really really urm Hate him!!!' I said emphasizing the word Hate and trying to sound like I really really really hate him, I don't, I can't, I won't.
'Yeah and that's why you're crying, Sure.' Jenny says being sarcastic.
'Teach me how to hate him, please' I say like a pleading child.
'Well for starters, think of him as a jerk, and in your brain, close your eyes' I close my eyes immediately 'Okay yeah close your eyes and imagine a gun in your hand and think of him standing and you're shooting him and he's bleeding and he's dead and gone' Jenny commands me.
'Thats a bit childish, no?'
'Do it!'
'Alright'
'Next well, just block his general existence from your life and eventually you'll forget it?!' Jenny tells me.
My phone rings and it's my manager, after hearing to all he said, I tell it all to Jenny and it's about how Brad will ruin my image with his blames so I told John that let it be, besides there are a million rumors a day so this is just like anything else.

As we go through all the TV channels to find one we like, its like I am looking back at all the memories Brad and I made. Every channel has the same thing, Our Break-up. I am sure no one would have had found out about this little break-up until the fifth day or more but I know why they found out and its quite obvious that its because of Brad, I walk over to the fridge and take out some cold drink because sometimes even in the winter you need a cold drink. 'Are you okay?' Jenny widens her eyes at me. 'When did I ever say to you that I was 'okay' '? I said 'Put the drink down Lana, its been in my fridge since last summer I was going to throw it out! Come back to your senses! You're going to get a cold if you drink that or even worse things can happen, who knows how expired that is!' Jenny grabbed the drink from my hand and threw it in the bin. 'What did you do that for!' I yelled at her 'Because I care about you and don't want you to catch a cold' she told me 'No one cares about me! You're a liar!' I told her bluntly wiping the tears from my face 'They only care my money or my fame not me!' I complete my sentence, teary eyed. 'Love, I have them both already. Just because one person wants it doesn't mean everyone wants it. Think about it we all have different needs. Now, calm down and drink some hot coco, Brad is gone and as long as I am here, I'll make sure he doesn't come back and you need to understand that he's gone. No need to miss something you don't want. Look ahead there's so much waiting for you and yet you're still thinking about whats gone. I know its hard I've been through it, its very hard to let go of something you love because you just can't think of losing something so close, even if its not a person, even if its just a book or anything just close enough to make you feel like it will last forever, some things do last a lifetime, some don't, you can never choose who you want to love.Things like that happen, ever so casually.' Jenny finishes her speech while I just stare at her blank without a reply or a reason to state. She's right but she's wrong, I thought but I moved on. 'Thank you' I reply to her. 'Why are you thanking me? Oh! Now this little speech made me thirsty, I am going to make some hot coco, you want it too, right?' 'Of course, I love you best friend, always there to make me feel better, thank you just in general for sticking by my side' I told her honestly. 'I love you too Lana, and of course isn't that what friendship is all about' She smiled. I wish every person we call 'friend' knew that. 'Yeah' I reply back.
