Wonwoo put down the small puppy on the ground and walked to the door. "Wait here, Seol." He pointed at the puppy who still jumped after hearing his commands.

Wonwoo closed the door so she couldn't come out. He walked to the door and towards the camera. He looked at the screen and there was a person with a cap.

"Yes?" He pressed the button and asked.

"A food delivery for you from Park Miran." The person spoke with their head down.

"Wow, she ordered it back for me?" He shook his head and walked to the door. He opened it. But the person suddenly grabbed the door and pulled it out.

"Move!" The cap flew away, revealing Miran who rushed into the house. Wonwoo stood there with wide eyes, watching her clumsily remove her shoes and hurry into the house.

"What the fuck?" Wonwoo held his chest because her sudden appearance surely almost gave him a heart attack.

Miran opened the door of Wonwoo's door slowly. Her eyes wandered around until there were sounds of something scratching on the floor.

A small puppy came from behind the bed and ran to her. Miran's eyes went wide and she squealed before running to the dog and patting her.

"Oh my, God! You are so cute!" Miran talked to the puppy who was wiggling a lot while meeting her. "You are such a cute girl."

Wonwoo opened the door and saw Miran playing with the puppy who was laying on the ground with her stomach facing her.

"How did you arrive here out of nowhere?" Wonwoo asked with a smile as he walked in and closed the door behind him.

"I drove right away when you told me about the puppy." She looked up at him. Her eyes were sparkling as she looked away to play with Seol.

"So, your grandmother calling you was an excuse?" Wonwoo crossed his arms. Miran just shrugged. "What about the ice cream?"

"I ate one tub in the car. I gave the other to my grandfather." Miran picked up the puppy and stood up. "What did you name her?"

"Seol."

"Seoul?"

"Seol." He corrected her.

"Hey, Seoul!" She tapped her nose.

"Seol..." Wonwoo just trailed off with a sigh.

"At this point, your dog has more hair than you." She looked at him before laughing.

"I won't hesitate to throw you out of the window." He walked closer to her but went to sit on the bed.

"Sure." She rolled her eyes.

"Did you eat lunch? Or did you drive right away without your lunch?" Wonwoo tilted his head.

"I just ate ice cream." She walked to the other side of the bed and climbed on it before sitting on crossed legs and putting Seol on her lap.

"Want to order something?" He took out his phone. "We already ate lunch."

"Sure." She nodded and told him what she wanted to eat. Wonwoo nodded. "You are so beautiful!" She cooed while picking up the puppy in the air.

"Don't excite her too much or else, she will pee." Wonwoo removed his slippers and climbed on the bed beside Miran.

"I won't mind if it's from her." She put her down on the bed and started shaking her stomach. Wonwoo leaned back on the bed back.

"The food will arrive in like thirty minutes."

"I'll wait." She stopped patting Seol and put her hands down on the bed before pushing herself behind to also lean against the bed back, beside Wonwoo.

Seol ran to Wonwoo and climbed on his lap.

"You should've called me before coming." Wonwoo looked at Miran.

"Take it as a New Year surprise." She smiled but was still looking at Seol. "Besides, I was going to come two days later."

"You took your grandparents' car?"

"They let me." She shrugged. "They already have a pick-up truck, so they don't really mind."

"Hmm." He looked down at Seol. Miran grabbed the puppy and picked it up before putting it back on her lap.

Then, they sat in silence. Miran kept caressing Seol who was laying silently on her lap and enjoying the scratches from the new woman she just met.

Wonwoo looked at Miran whose attention was on the dog. His arms were crossed but they were itching to open up and have contact with Miran.

But he controlled himself and kept them crossed.

Miran side-eyed him and saw him shifting to his seat slowly. He sure was trying to not look suspicious and he succeeded but Miran also had sharp eyes.

She remembered the words that she once said,

"I don't think I'll be able to be that physical in my next relationship right from the start. I hope my next future boyfriend understands it."

"But how will you start it then?" Wonwoo had asked back.

"I'll make the first move when I'm comfortable."

"Like?"

"Put my leg over his."

Wonwoo was clearly following it. Miran looked down at his legs before she lifted her leg that was beside Wonwoo and put it over his.

He was taken aback by that. He snapped his head to her with wide eyes. She smiled at him.

She never hugged him. She never kissed him. She didn't shake hands with him after they got into the relationship.

She made contact with him with his leg. It meant that she wanted to slowly move from down to up. Their legs were covered. It meant that it shouldn't be too direct.

As if she was saying, "Let's take it slow and steady. We won't go directly on it and slowly increase the power."

Wonwoo understood the assignment. A smile formed on his lips and he put his hands on the bed before shifting closer to her and putting his head on her shoulder.

"I'll go with your pace. I'll wait if you suddenly become slow. If I accidentally walk too fast, I'll come back and apologize." He whispered to her.

Her heart raced after hearing those words in his calm voice.

"Thank you, Wonwoo." She whispered back and looked down at his hand that was now on his lap.

She moved her free hand closer to his hand but didn't hold his hand and just hovered over his hand. With her index finger, she drew a heart at the back of his hand.

"I'll surely increase my pace to be able to satisfy yours."

"Give yourself time. It's easy to slow down the pace but never too easy to increase it."

"Understood, piggy."
