"Seol!" Miran gasped when she saw the dog at the doorway when she opened the door. Seol ran to her and started jumping as Miran was closing the door.

"Hey." Wonwoo greeted her as she was removing her shoes with the dog in her arms. She looked at him and smiled.

"Hey." She breathed out while walking to him. He opened his arms as she dropped her body on his chest while still hugging the dog.

"You came in twenty minutes. Did you drive fast?" He looked down and squinted his eyes. Her head turned up to him and she put her chin on his chest.

She gave him a smile without saying anything.

"I swear if something happens-" He sighed. Miran started pushing him as he started walking backwards while still hugging her.

"I'm a professional." She shook her head as she moved away from him and walked to the sofa before sitting on it.

"Do you want to stay at home or go out?" He scratched his arm as he slowly walked to her petting Seol.

Miran looked at the clock and it was four in the evening. "It's too hot outside. Let's just stay inside." She shook her head.

He adjusted his sweatpants as he sat down beside her.

"Let's just play games." She tilted her head with a smile. She knew Wonwoo would rather sit and play with her as they catch up rather than go out for a hangout.

"Sure."

"This is too difficult!" Miran slammed her hands on the table and held her head. Wonwoo picked up the manual and opened it.

"Well, the review also said that they couldn't go past level forty-five." The man pushed back his glasses as he carefully pushed the chair that Miran was sitting on away and grabbed the keyboard.

He shifted his game chair closer to the screen with the help of the wheels on the chair. Miran's chair was a simple one that he had grabbed from the dining table.

She watched the screen as he attempted to clear the puzzle. His fingers moved fast on the keyboard just like how his eyes were continuously moving around the clues on the screen.

Her eyes turned to look at his focused face. He put his elbow on the table and he started rubbing his chin while his other hand worked with the computer mouse.

She was staring at him for too long.

Wonwoo gripped on his chin because he could feel her stare even though her head was facing the screen.

"Got it." He suddenly turned to her and caught her staring at him. She instantly looked at the screen. A smirk formed on his lips.

He grabbed the seat of Miran's chair and pulled her closer. The girl almost fell from the sudden pull but sat straight and quickly looked at him.

He gave her a smile and turned to the screen as he started explaining the level. But only half of her mind was focusing on him.

The other half was still thinking about the way he pulled her chair with one hand without any discomfort or difficulty shown on his face.

But the doorbell rang, breaking off her thoughts. "The food is here." Wonwoo stood up and walked away.

"Oh damn!" She held her chest and shook her head. Her hands flapped in front of her face which had started heating up when he walked out.

She just stood up from the chair and jumped on his bed. Laying on her side, she opened her phone and started using it.

Wonwoo opened the door but saw her laying there. She looked at him before going back to her phone, "I'm not hungry yet."

He nodded as he closed the door and walked to her while removing his glasses. Without any words, he climbed onto the bed and laid beside her.

She turned her attention to him and saw him already looking at her. "What?" She smiled because he wasn't saying anything.

But instead, he shifted closer to her and wrapped his arms around her waist. Her hands moved up as he put his face in her lower neck.

There was silence between them. Miran was staring at him with wide eyes because he acted clingy out of nowhere without any words.

He was now just hugging her without saying anything else. His soft breaths were hitting her bare skin. She bit her lower lip and put her arms over his head while keeping using her phone.

Wonwoo could hear her heartbeat because he was laying a little lower than Miran. The sounds were more clear. That made his heart also race because it was clear that she was enjoying his touch.

He closed his eyes while shifting his body to make himself comfortable in her arms. It was the first time they were hugging like that while laying down and he was enjoying his fullest.

No one spoke. Seol was sleeping on the floor under the chair. There were no other sounds except the faint voices coming from Miran's phone as she was watching her Instagram.

Wonwoo lifted his leg and put it over her legs, getting closer to her. He started feeling weak and exhausted out of nowhere.

She suddenly looked down at him and realized that he was being too silent. His breaths were getting heavier. She moved her arm away from him and gently moved his hair.

He was sleeping.

"I guess we are sleeping just like this today with empty stomachs." She whispered with a soft chuckle before going back to use her mobile to ignore her empty stomach.
