"Miran."
"Yes?" Miran turned her head to Wonwoo who was sitting beside her on the bed. Wonwoo sighed before scratching his head.
"We are going out of the country for the schedule." He sighed again and looked down at Seol sleeping on her lap.
"How many days?" She closed her phone to give him her full attention.
"Maybe for three weeks. We need to go to different places. Maybe, fan meets."
"Hmm, okay." She shrugged before shifting her back against the bed back.
"Huh?" Wonwoo looked up at her.
"What?"
"You are...not that mad?" His glasses rested on the tip of his nose and his eyebrows were frowned in confusion.
"Do I have to?" She asked with a confused face. "Isn't it your job to do things like this?"
"Aren't you jealous that I'm going to visit all the places all by myself?" A smile formed on his lips as his eyes shifted down at the dog on his lap.
"It's fine. I'll visit outside countries when I get more money." She leaned her head back and closed her eyes.
"I wanted to talk about something." He stopped caressing Seol.
"What is it?" She didn't open her eyes.
"You know, my past relationships..." He trailed off a little. "A lot used to get mad and jealous whenever I interacted with female fans."
She opened her eyes and looked at him.
"I was expecting some reaction from you when I said my time period and meeting fans. I was surprised when I didn't receive the same reaction."
"To be honest, I can't stop you from that... I know the job requires you to do things even if you don't like it." She sighed.
"Hmm-"
"But I trust you."
Trust?
Trust.
Trust...
Does she trusts him to that point?
Wonwoo, calm down. Even Seol woke up and looked up at him as he was looking down at her. Red.
His face was burning hot. Seol was giving the man side eye as he was biting his lips and closing his eyes while trying to calm his insides down.
"Wonwoo?"
He didn't look up.
"Wonwoo."
No answer.
Miran put down her arms and crawled closer to him. She put her hand under his chin and forced him to look at him.
She burst out laughing at his face. "Wonwoo, you are so red!" She put her head on his shoulder while laughing.
"Please, stop." He covered his mouth and looked away. Seol got up from his lap and ran away, jumping down from the bed.
"What happened?" She tilted her head, putting her cheek on his shoulder as she looked at the back of his head since he was looking away in the opposite direction.
Wonwoo put his hand on her stomach and tried to push her away but she didn't budge. Instead, leaned her body over on him.
He held his posture and sat straight to not fall back as she was practically laying over him. His hand slowly went to the side of her waist.
"You are handsome when you get shy like this."
It was the first time she called him that.
He broke into a big smile he looked down and held his head. That smile was the biggest smile he felt like he ever had.
Miran just held a smile as he watched him trying to control his laugh. She lifted her arms and hugged his neck. Wonwoo blinked while his smile fell as his chin was now resting on her shoulder.
He put his hand down before he wrapped his arm around her waist. Now, he was hugging her with his face buried in her shoulder.
Miran closed her eyes, letting him hug her as tightly as he wanted to because from tomorrow, he won't be there for a month.
"I'll miss you..."
Her weak whisper broke his heart. No cheerful voice?
"I'm sorry." Wonwoo closed his eyes while slowly moving his hand up and down on her back. First, it was her exams, then the comeback, and now this?
"Promise to call every day."
"I will."
Keeping a relationship as an adult with a busy schedule was surely more difficult than a relationship in school or university.

A month passed away in the blink of an eye.
Miran got busy with her job while Wonwoo was busy with the promotions. It was a difficult time especially because of the time zone.
But Wonwoo tried his best to wake up early in the morning to call Miran because she was more busy than him in the daytime.
He kept his promise.
Though he missed seeing her in person. During the exam season, he could see her even for thirty minutes but not now.
Seeing her all tired and how she would sleep during the video call surely made him also sad because her cheerful responses were now converted to tired ones.
Miran was happy even with the texts he replied even though they were delayed. The gap between his own texts was there.
It was time for Wonwoo's return.
The day he returned, it was difficult to go and meet her because of the media. So, he decided to go at night to her house.
As he was in the elevator, he texted Hyunmi to open the door since he had talked to her earlier to surprise Miran.
He walked out of the elevator but spotted a girl standing in front of the door. The girl looked to the side when she heard the footsteps.
"Greetings, Mister Jeon." Hyunmi bowed to the tall walking towards her. He greeted her back with a bow. "I just got back from my work. I was waiting for you."
"Is Miran home?"
"She is supposed to be home unless she has gone out to eat something. But I think she is home." Hyunmi looked ahead and put the password on the door.
Wonwoo was tapping his foot on the ground while gripping tightly the paper bag in his hands.
The door opened.
Calm down, Wonwoo. You can't run just like that.
He waited for Hyunmi to walk in. He then walked in. Wonwoo moved away a little to let Hyunmi close the door behind him. He removed his shoes before stepping inside.
He froze in the middle.
The scene in front of him dropped his heart.
"Miran?!"
