Chapter 53

"Wonwoo, I feel so nervous." Miran bit her lower lip as she looked down at her feet.

"It's rare to see you shaking like this." Wonwoo side-eyed at her as they were walking into the hallway of the company building.

"Why won't I??" She looked at him. "I'm meeting some big celebrities!"

"You already met them at the Christmas party." He looked away while rolling his eyes. "You even have a group chat with them without me in it."

"But we have talked like barely five times!" She almost yelled at him. "There is a difference between texting and meeting in person!"

"What about the Christmas party?" He repeated his question.

"I was also nervous that time, that's why I left quickly!" She hissed before letting out a big sigh. "I don't know."

"Am I not a celebrity?"

"You are not even a human."

"Great." Wonwoo stopped in front of the door, which also made Miran stop as well. He didn't open the door and instead, looked at her shifting in an awkward position.

No matter how much she shows that she doesn't care and is carefree, she could still feel nervous about officially meeting a bunch of celebrities.

"Everything will be alright." He brought his hand behind her back and gave her a reassuring pat. She looked up at him. "They will surely not let you feel left out."

She nodded and didn't say anything. Her not saying a single word also made Wonwoo question the meeting.

He grabbed the door handle and opened it. Loud music blasted from inside the room. Miran quickly covered her ears at the sudden shock.

"Mingyu, watch your left arm!" The man standing in front of the mirror shouted as he was looking at the group of men dancing in the middle.

"Come in." Wonwoo told her. She took a step inside and he closed the door.

"Seungcheol, your-" The man stopped speaking after seeing the two of them standing at the end. He ran away to stop the music.

The group of men turned around and saw them but their eyes were more focused on Miran than Wonwoo.

Miran switched her character. Her nervous face turned into a big smile as she yelled, "Hello, everyone!!"

The members quickly rushed towards her. Miran's eyes went wide and she quickly moved back because she thought that they were about to jump on her from the way they ran towards her.

"Hey, Park Miran!" Seokmin instantly spoke when they were in front of her.

"It's nice to see you again, Park Miran." Dino smiled at her.

"We are happy to see you again." Seungcheol said with a bow. The others behind him also bowed at her.

"I feel like a special person with you all bowing to me like this!" She panicked, having no idea what to do. So, she just also did a ninety-degree bow.

"You are special because you are Wonwoo's girlfriend." Jeonghan smiled at her. Wonwoo looked away while scratching his cheek.

"I feel so honoured." She covered her mouth while chuckling. "It's such a pleasure to see you all in an official meeting."

"Our first time meeting each other wasn't that great..." Woozi crossed his arms and sighed.

"It's more like we weren't in the position to even greet her when she entered." Vernon sighed with Woozi.
