FINALLY, IT WAS FRIDAY. The class was pretty much empty. Three other students other than herself.

[Name] couldn't wait for the weekend to come, so she could relax at home. Not only that but hang out with Emi.

They planned their entire weekend a while ago. So being able to finally be able to get it done felt so relieving. Plus, it gave [Name] a reason for looking good.

Emi had given [Name] a new lipgloss to try out. Excitedly, [Name] experimented with a new lip gloss Emi had given her, eager for Emi's instant feedback on her choice.

Emi stated she was running a tiny bit late, and for [Name] not to worry.

[Name] sat down and took her book out of her bookbag ahead of time. She turned to Suna's direction and noticed he also wasn't there.

Suddenly, a voice interrupted her thoughts. "Were you looking for me?" Suna stood before her with a friendly smile, catching [Name] off guard as she looked up from her seat.

"I just turned my head. Like, right now," [Name] defended herself with a playful smile still lingering on her lips.

"You look pretty, did you do something different?" Suna's question was accompanied by a gentle touch as he softly cupped [Name]'s chin in his hand.

"Wow.. So I only look pretty today?" [Name] joked, adding a playful edge to her tone.

"You know that's not what I meant," Suna chuckled, releasing [Name]'s chin from his hand, his amusement evident in his voice.

"But to answer your question, I have a new lipgloss on," she admitted, puckering her lips slightly to showcase the subtle change. Suna raised an intrigued eyebrow.

"Is this an invitation or..?" Suna's playful tone mirrored [Name]'s

"I was just trying to show you. Now, I don't even wanna show you anymore," [Name] pretended to be offended, shifting her attention to her book, flipping it open to the last page they had read in class.

"I see how it is. But I forgive you, since you look pretty," Suna smiled, softly nudging her as he walked past her to his seat. [Name] watched him walk away, when he sat down in his seat, she turned back around.

As [Name] turned back around, Emi strolled into the classroom, her presence immediately lighting up the space in [Name]'s eyes.

[Name] greeted her best friend with a warm smile and a friendly wave as Emi settled into the seat beside her.

"It looks good, maybe.. wear this lipgloss more often," Emi commented, her eyes scanning [Name]'s face approvingly.

[Name] chuckled softly, acknowledging Emi's compliment. "Thanks, I'll consider it."

Emi's gaze shifted to the open book on [Name]'s desk, and she raised an eyebrow inquisitively. "Why do you have your books out already?"

A grin played on [Name]'s lips as she recounted the recent encounter with Suna. "Suna.. He came here and started messing with me. I didn't wanna look at him, so, I took out my book," she explained, a hint of pride evident in her voice.

Emi laughed, shaking her head in amusement. "You guys always have something going on"

"Right.. Well anyways," Emi continued, shifting the conversation to another topic.

"Don't take this the wrong way, but when you told me what you said, I wasn't expecting Suna to actually follow through," Emi confessed, her tone a mix of surprise and disbelief.

"I know what you mean, I didn't either," [Name] admitted with a soft chuckle, sharing in Emi's astonishment.

"I've just heard so many... um, let's say, colorful stories about him. Once again, don't take this the wrong way, but he never seemed like the type to settle down," Emi elaborated, her eyes searching [Name]'s for understanding.

"Emi, you don't have to preface everything. I know you don't mean it in a bad way," [Name] reassured her, chuckling again to ease the tension.

"I know, but still..." Emi trailed off, glancing down at the floor, her mind clearly racing with thoughts.

"If anything, he should be the one feeling uncertain. It's his reputation, not ours," [Name] said with a casual shrug, trying to dismiss the weight of Emi's concerns.

Emi looked back up, a grin spreading across her face as she patted [Name]'s bookbag. "You sound so mature," she teased.

"Thanks!" [Name] replied, her smile brightening at the compliment.

Emi was about to open her mouth and say more as they turned the corner, but the sight in front of them made her come to a complete stop.

More like Emi. Emi came to a complete stop while [Name] continued walking, her expression neutral. Emi bit her lip anxiously as she watched [Name] stride past Suna and the girl he was talking to.

As [Name] walked by, Suna's attention shifted entirely to her, leaving the other girl standing there, confused and forgotten. [Name] kept walking without acknowledging him.

"Fuck," Suna cursed under his breath, his gaze following [Name].

"You know—" the girl began.

"Yes, bye," Suna cut her off, waving dismissively as he hurried away from her. He picked up his pace to catch up with [Name], his jog slowing once he was beside her.

"[Name], let me explain," Suna said, taking a hold of [Name]'s wrist.

"We were never anything anyways, just friends. So I don't care, just don't expect anything from me," [Name] stated firmly, pulling her wrist away from his grasp.

"But we—" Suna started.

"There's no we, get that through your head. We've been friends, and only friends," [Name] interrupted, her voice cold and final. She walked away, not wanting to hear another word from him.

She could hear Emi speed walking towards her to catch up. [Name] turned to Emi, and Emi looked at her with a worried look.

"Any positive thing I said about him, I take it back," [Name] muttered, rolling her eyes as she fell into step beside Emi.
