"EMI, HE SAID HE WAS GOING TO CUT THEM ALL OFF PROPERLY I trust him... just gotta be patient," [Name] said with a soft smile, closing her books with a sense of finality.
Emi shook her head, chuckling as she packed her own bag. "You're so patient. I give you that," she teased, her tone a mix of admiration and disbelief.
"Hurry up so we can go!" Emi whisper-shouted, noticing how slowly [Name] was moving, as if she had all the time in the world.
"Emi... I forgot to mention," [Name] started, her voice faltering as she awkwardly turned to face her friend.
"What happened? I don't like how you're looking at me..." Emi's eyes narrowed with concern, a gut feeling warning her that something was off.
"Suna invited me to his place," [Name] admitted, her voice barely above a whisper, a sheepish smile tugging at the corners of her mouth.
"You're ditching me?" Emi sat back down, letting out a dramatic groan as she slumped in her seat. She glanced over at [Name], her eyes searching for more answers. "Does this mean you guys are done being in this weird, undefined thing? Or...?"
"I don't know," [Name] confessed, scratching her head, her uncertainty palpable.
"Right, you're never in the loop when it comes to him," Emi sighed, grabbing her bag. "I'm going home then. I'll be stalking your location, so don't get into trouble," she added, half-joking, half-serious, as she stood up.
"Bye Emi!" [Name] called out, waving as she finished packing her things. Her mind drifted to where Suna could be since he hadn't shown up to class. Maybe he had stepped out to wait for her.
With a sigh, [Name] walked out of the classroom, her pace slow and cautious, her eyes scanning for any sign of him. She wasn't in a hurry, but her thoughts raced with anticipation.
"Boo!"
[Name] jumped as she felt a pair of hands land on her shoulders. Her initial irritation quickly melted away when she saw Suna's familiar smirk.
