Secrets of the Blacksmith:

We first see Jay and Nya flying on the Lightning Dragon, Wisp. Since Nya was moving into the monastery, the Blue Ninja kindly offered to give her a ride to the blacksmith shop to collect the rest of her stuff.

"Hey, Nya. Check this out!" Jay suddenly sent Wisp into a nose-dive and pulled up at the last second, startling two rice farmers as they zipped by. "YAHOO!"

"Jay, grow up," Nya teased, smiling. She actually enjoyed that. "Thanks for helping out, Blue Boy. Now that I'm moving in with you guys, I just need to get a few things." Wisp touched down outside the shop, and Nya hopped off.

"Okay, cool. Need a hand?" Jay asked.

"No, I got it. Just wait here."

"Oh... uh, okay," Jay sighed. He really liked Nya a lot. He wanted to impress her somehow, but she was a very independent person. Even if it was a well-meaning gesture, she didn't accept help easily.

Once inside the shop, Nya made sure there was no one around before turning the anvil slightly. This opened a secret panel behind a wall, which held weapons she had been saving. She grabbed a few of them and stuffed them in her bag. "Well, hello, little girl," a voice interrupted. Four Skulkins had been hiding this whole time—Wyplash and three of his cronies. "We've been expecting you."

Nya immediately took a defensive stance as they approached. "May I remind you that this is private property," she warned, "and trespassing is against Ninjago law, paragraph 13, section 2?" The skeletons looked confused.

"Paragraph 13..." Wyplash started, but Nya kicked him in the face! She turned the anvil again, sending the panel and one of the skeletons spinning until his head flew off. "Don't lose your head now!" she quipped, grabbing a sword and delivering a spin kick that shattered another crony to pieces. Don't mess with Nya Smith!

Outside, Jay was oblivious to the chaos in the shop. He didn't even hear it. He was just leaning against Wisp's wing, trying to come up with something cool to say to Nya. "Hey, Nya, maybe after this you wanna go for a ride?" He paused, feeling that wasn't good enough. "Oh, Jay." Wisp was listening and groaned. His rider was smart with everything but girls.

Meanwhile, Nya was still fighting and launched a kusari-fundo at one of the skeletons, but missed him by an inch. "Ha! Missed me!" She had planned that! She yanked down a shelf behind him, knocking over a bunch of samurai helmets. Skulkins really were all bones and no brains.

The other three skeletons got back up and charged at her with their weapons. "GET HER!" Nya grabbed a spear with a helmet stuck on the end and slammed it really hard on one of their heads, crushing him inside it. "RETREAT!" She giggled as he crab-walked away, but the others were still standing. She backed away and spotted a golden shield hanging on the wall. "Hold this!" She tossed it to Wyplash, and the other skeleton hit it with his hammer, making a loud gong sound!

Outside, Jay heard the crash and got worried. "Nya?" He threw on his hood and grabbed the Nunchucks of Lightning. "Ninja Go!" He Spinjitzu'd to the door, ready to fight... only to see Nya calmly strolling out with her full bag. "Nya! You're alright. What was that sound?"

"Oh, nothing," she replied casually. "Just knocked over some samurai helmets."

With that, they flew away on Wisp, Jay being none the wiser about what happened in the shop. Back inside, Wyplash and his cronies were scattered all over the place in pieces. "Wyplash, man, we just got beaten by a little girl!" one of them whined.

"This remains between the four of us," Wyplash hissed, his whole body stuck in a bucket.
