It had been a few days since the incident at Darkley's Boarding School. Lloyd and Akane had moved in with their uncle and the ninjas, and so far, they haven't done anything bad ever since. They even ditched their black hoodies.

Master Wu also told Akane about her powers and how she would need help harnessing them to prevent further incidents. They promised to behave, but that didn't mean their mischievous streaks were over. This morning, Kai was going to play his favourite video game, Fist to Face 2, when the twins walked in.

"Hey, Kai!" Lloyd greeted. "We saw Cole beat your high score. You should have seen it. It was pretty spectacular."

"Uh, you must be talking about 'Sitar Legend'." Kai chuckled. "This is 'Fist to Face 2'. No one beats me on my game. Not even Felix, who crushes us all without mercy in all the other ones."

"We could be wrong then." Akane shrugged. "See ya!" However, after the twins walk out, Kai checks the high score board on his game and finds the Black Ninja's profile on the scores, which are now hundreds of points higher than before.

"COLE!" Kai shouts with annoyance.

In the kitchen, Cole was making a pot of soup. His culinary skills may be poor, but he still enjoys doing it. "Violet Berry Soup. My culinary achievement. If the recipe isn't followed exactly..." He tries some of it but gags. It tastes horrible! (No surprise if you ask me.)

"Hey, Cole." Lloyd said, looking behind the corner. "I think I saw Jay spice things up a bit in here. I told him not to, but he said your cooking could use it. Bye!"

Cole spits out the soup in disgust and growls. "JAY!"

On the upper deck, Jay was wearing kendo gear as he prepared for his session with a sparring robot he built. "Alright, let's ease our way into this. How about level 2, shall we?" He turned the robot on, but it suddenly switched to level 9.

"Hey, Jay." Akane said, walking down the stairs. "I saw Felix tinker with the sparring bot earlier. Isn't that your robot? Oh, well. Later, dude."

After she left, Jay looked in shock as the robot started losing control. "Wait! What?" He tries to turn it off, but it laughs at him and fights back. "No! No! FELIX!"

In Felix's workshop, the Purple Ninja was tinkering with something when Lloyd walked in. "Hey, buddy, what's up?" She asked.

"Oh, nothing." Lloyd said. "Just wanted to see what you're doing in here."

"I'm just about to test the high-tech drone I've been working on. You know, so we can scout the area to find the Serpentine more efficiently. I spent all week perfecting it." She flipped the on switch, and the drone started hovering for a few seconds, but then started making weird noises. Felix's brow furrowed in confusion as she checked the scans, which were going crazy!

"Is everything okay?" Lloyd asked.

"Everything should be fine, but it doesn't seem to be working. That's odd. If I don't get this rebooted, the memory card might burn out." She ushers Lloyd out of the room quickly and frantically turns off the switch, which didn't stop the drone.

"Oh, by the way, I just stopped by to tell you that I saw Zane in here a few hours ago." Lloyd said from outside. "He said he was just helping with the coding."

"Wait, what?! I told them they weren't allowed in here! The room is for me to work on--" Felix was cut off when she was thrown off her feet as the drone exploded. Lloyd had left the scene, but not before hearing Felix groan and yell. "ZANE!"
