Chapter 11

Justin's POV

Of course I was unable to get home early. I had meetings all day plus the paper work that I didn't do yesterday.

By the time I was finished and got home it was almost midnight.

As I made my way to our bedroom, I ducked into Jason's room seeing him asleep. I kissed him, like I was doing often these days.

Then I went into our bedroom seeing Selena curled up with her back towards the door, her hand tucked under her chin.

I took a quick shower, the warm water making me sleepy, before I slipped on a pair of sweatpants and crawled into the bed next to her, facing her. 

I took a chance and put my arm around her, pulling her into me.

She stirred and I expected her to pull away but instead she cuddled closer to me, nuzzling her head into the crook of my neck.

I nuzzled my head into her hair and fell asleep. Safe to say, that was the most comfortable way I had ever slept.

But before I fell asleep I made a promise to myself: I would make her fall for me.

Selena's POV

The next morning when I woke up something was different. Justin.

His attitude was different.

I don't know if it was because of my newly-developed feelings of attraction towards him but he seemed more......affectionate.

Maybe I was just over-analyzing this.

But when I woke up entangled with Justin, that was one of the best feelings I had ever experienced.

My head tucked into the crook of his neck, his arms around my waist...

I could have stayed there forever.

He had rasped to me in his morning voice, "Morning. Sleep good?"

And he had flashes me his million dollar smile. One that I didn't see often.

And it gave me butterflies.

I could only nod in response.

Then we had gotten ready for the day and had breakfast (coffee) together like we usually did, but it was...better.

I felt like we were closer.

God, I'm losing my mind.

He had left for work but before he did, he promised me that he would try not to work late again but if he had to he would call me.

Just like he had done yesterday.

And I was loving this side of him.

My phone rang pulling me out of my reviere.

Unknown number. Huh.

"Hello?"

"Selena?"

"Uh yeah. Who is this?"

"Jazmyn."

"Oh hey. What's up?" I asked casually. Why was she calling me?

"I was wondering...Would you and Jason like to go out with me today?"

"Sure. Where?"

"I was thinking we could do some shopping then we could go Chuck E. Cheese's."

"That sounds good. What time do we have to get ready for?"
