"Okay bye!" Haley and I wave to the camera, getting off facetime with our parents. We had just finished getting ready for prom.
I took one last look in the mirror, fixing up my hair.
"Sabrina! Connor's here!" Luke yells from downstairs.
Haley grabs the digital camera running downstairs first so she could take pictures of me going down the stairs. Homegirl fr.

I walk down the stairs slowly, stopping halfway, covering my face as I blushed at Connor's reaction. His lips were slightly parted as he looked at lost for words.
"You look beautiful," He smiles, dreamily. He place the corsage on my wrist.
"You look pretty damn handsome, Connor Noon," I place my hands against his chest looking up and him.
"Okay! Picture time!" Haley perks. Her cheery nature shining through as she pushes us closer so she could snap a photo. Connor placed his hand on my waist but slowly moves it up to my lower ribcage instead when Luke glares at him.
Haley snaps a few shots before passing the camera over to Luke. She inserts herself between us as we take a group photo.
Connor and I finished our prom transition before we left to the venue. Haley rode with us since she was going alone.
We entered the gym, where prom was held, looking around at the well decorated place.
"Hey guys!" Lydia greets us. We meet up with the rest of the group as we all hang out for a bit.
"Do you wanna dance?" I ask Connor. He agrees, taking my hand leading me to the dance floor.
I hold his shoulders while he holds my waist. We sway to the beat of the music, enjoying each others company.
The peace was this disrupted as an aggravating voice sounds from behind me.
"I can't believe you went through with it Noon," Ethan scoffs.
I turn around, looking at him confused. "What is he talking about, Connor?"
He doesn't answer me as he his harsh gaze stays fixated on Ethan.
"Oh..he didn't tell you?" Ethan says in a fake concerned voice. "Yeah we made a deal that if he asked you out and took you to prom I'd get my dad to help him into UCLA and pay him."
My heart drops. No. Ethan has to be lying. I turn to Connor, who avoids my eyes.
"Connor...please tell me it's not true," My voice cracks, in disbelief.
He stays silent. I open my mouth before shutting it again being at a loss for words, not in a good way.
"I'm sorry-" I slap him, cutting him off as I storm out with tears streaming down my face. Haley notices me run out and immediately chases after me.
"Sab! Wait!" She finally catches up to me pulling me into a hug.
"I'm so stupid, Hales. I actually thought he cared about me," I sobbed into her shoulder. She strokes my hair in comfort, trying to calm me down.
"It's ok, sis," We stayed there until my hiccups die down and I stopped crying. We got a uber home because I didn't want to stay any longer and since Connor was our ride here it was a definite no on going back with him. I reluctantly agreed to Haley staying with me at home because I didn't want her to miss out on prom just because of me. She told me it was fine because she didn't have a date anyway and she'd much rather be with me then be there with no one at all.
" I just- I thought I could trust him. I told him about my mom. He's the first person I let in, and now-look where I ended up," I vent to Haley who listens intently.
"Okay, let's not think about him right now," She tries to distract me, as she rubs my back comfortingly.
