I was having dinner with Connor and my family. It's the first time he's been over to have dinner with my family.
"It's really nice to meet you, Connor. I didn't manage to catch you at the wedding," My dad says.
"It's really nice to meet you too, Sir," I laugh slightly at how nervous Connor was.
"Sir. I like it," My dad approves. I watched Connor lets out a slight sigh of relief that only intensifies my laughter.
We continue to talk and eat. My dad and Connor really hit it off which had me worried at first that my dad wouldn't like Connor just because he was my boyfriend.
Once we were all done eating, I helped to clean up the table. I bring the dishes to the kitchen as Connor follows me, bringing the rest. He washes the dishes with me as we talked.
"So you going to write a song for me now, Ms pop star?" He asks, humour lacing his tone.
I hum, pretending to consider before I splash him with water. He pulls an offended look as he splashed water on me back . I gasp at the coldness of the water.
"I never realise how different we are. It's kinda cool how we work,"He smiles.
"Well, you know how to ball and I know Aristotle," I say.
"Who that?" He asks confused, which cause me to chuckle.
"You are so cute but you make me feel like I failed as a tutor," I joke.
He smiles before leaning in. It's weird how we started to where we are now.
"DAD THEY'RE MAKING OUT OVER THE SINK," Luke yells out, causing us to pull away.
We look at each other and burst out laughing. Thank god, for making me move to Lacey.
