"AHHHHH," I squeal as I read the email. Haley bolts from her side of the room over to me.
"What happened?!" She yells, concerned at my sudden outburst.
"My song just got nominated for song of the year at the freaking Grammy's!" I exclaim. Her widens in excitement as we both squeal in happiness.
My Dad rushes in along with Julia and Lucas.
"Are you girls all right?" He asks concerned. We nod excitedly.
"Emails I can't send just got nominated for song of the year! I'm going to the Grammy's!!"
"That's amazing,bean I'm so proud!" He leans down giving me a hug. I thank him. Him saying that means a lot to me because he had always been by my side throughout my whole life,especially in this journey of releasing my music and acting.
Julia congratulates me as well, hugging me. I cherish the moment as I never had moments like this with my mom.
"But the Grammy's are in LA in two weeks so I'd probably have to fly out for a while," I add.
"That's alright, you'll be back!" Haley reminds me.
"Congrats sis," Lucas adds after a bit making me look at him confused. "what i'm being nice."
I laugh,pushing his head down playfully. Though I had to tiptoe. Even though he was my younger brother,he was taller than me. And he never let that go. Ever.
He pushes me back."Shortie."
I roll my eyes in annoyance.
Omg. I need to tell Brady. In the next few weeks, I have a bit of a break from being a normal kid as we have the Family Switch movie premiere and then followed by the Grammy's. Family Switch, was one of the few movies that we got to act in together. We were honestly pretty shocked we both got casted as we had already been in films together before. However in this one we were love interests but it didn't really affect us in real life as we knew how to separate acting and our real lives.
