connor's pov— ⚽️ : ̗̀➛
LACEY HIGH FIELD; 2:27pm

"Deals off," I say harshly to Ethan, before walking away.

He catches up to me, "What?" Then he scoffs, "Don't tell me you actually fell for her."

I did. Hard. And this wasn't right, I knew that so I knew I had to call it off before it got worse.

"Look, I don't wanna do this anymore. So you can take your money," I pull out my wallet handing him back the cash he had given me for the past few weeks. I hadn't spend any of it due to guilt and plus I didn't need his money.

"You know I'll make sure my dad doesn't let you into UCLA, you're a coward, Noon," He taunts. I really didn't care, he could try to use that as blackmail mall he wanted but I'll find another way in.

I turn to walk away, before he said something that made my blood boil.

"I might just try for her myself."

I clench my fist, turning around, clocking him straight in the nose. He groans bending over in pain.

"Fuck you, man," He yells, with his hand over his bleeding nose.

I brush him off, leaving to go get ready for Sabrina's dad's wedding. She had asked me to be her date.

I got dressed in a formal suit and tie. I didn't really like dressing up like this but anything for bri. Brady came into my room with his tie a mess.

"Dude," I laugh at his attempt of tying a tie.

"Shut up, just help me," He says in defeat.

"So you're Haley's date. Living out your dreams yet?" I ask, in a humorous tone as I fixed his tie.

He laughs, rolling his eyes.

Silence fills the room for a while before I speak up.

"I wanna ask Sabrina to be my girlfriend," He looks at me shocked for a while before allowing me to continue. "...But I don't really know how to ask her and you're her best friend so..."

"You like my boyfriend's sister?" Madison speaks up from the door frame. She's dressed in a navy blue dress, being invited to the wedding as well by Luke.

"I'm sorry- boyfriend?" I double check.

"Yeah, he asked me after the formal," She replies so casually.

Before I could say anything about it, Brady changes the subject back to Sabrina.

"Well we don't talk about relationships much mostly because she's never even had a boyfriend before-"

Wait. What?!

"I'm sorry, what?!" I cut him, off shocked. He gives me a "yeah", look. "But she's so gorgeous and sweet and funny and it's like everytime your around her you just smile like it's impossible not to," I ramble.

"Whipped," He coughs as Madison laughs along. I push him causing him to trip slightly. "Anyway, she would love it if you'd ask her in a super romantic romcom way because the closest thing to a relationship she's ever had is watching romcoms."

I nod, taking note.

We arrive at the beach, and see the amazing wedding set-up. Guest start coming but we don't really know most of them because it was Haley and Sabrina's families. A familiar blonde comes up to me after a while.

I swear I forgot how to breathe for a minute. Her hair was curled and sat perfectly on her shoulders as she was dressed in a beautiful pink dress.

"Hi!" She greets me, wrapping her arms around my neck. I bury my face in the crook of her neck as we hug for a bit. We pull away just enough to see each other. "Heyy you actually wore a suit," She compliments, adjusting the jacket.

Haley comes up behind her shortly after. Madison had already gone off with Luke as Brady and I kept a look out on them every once in a while.

"Oh! Right, Hales this is Brady, Brady this is Haley," She introduces them to each other as if they hadn't interacted on instagram before.

"Hi-i,"Brady says nervously causing me to snort.

"Hi," She replies softly with a smile on her face. She holds her hand that he takes as they walk away from us.

I chuckle as I watch him all nervous around her. I turn back around to Sabrina.

"So what is it I have to do?" I ask, confused of my role here.

"You have to accompany me down the aisle while I throw flowers and look pretty," She replies, inserting a joke in there.

"So the usual?" I flirt, causing her to roll her eyes in joking manner.

We walked over to the seats that were arranged right in front of the wedding arch, separated into 2 columns; the brides side and the grooms side.
