"SABRINA, ITS HERE!" Haley screams as she enters the room excitedly, holding a few envelopes.
College acceptance letters. Finally they were here, we were going for our winter break soon and the graduation so finding out if we got accepted into our desired school now was for the best.
"Omg! Please let's open them together," I scream just as excited. "Wait! Let me call Connor, we said we'd open 'em together."
She nods as I pull out my phone to Facetime Connor.
"Oh wait! How about Mom and Dad?" Haley asks. I ask her to call them in while I wait for Connor to pick up.
"Hey, did you get yours?" He asks. I nod asking him the same.
I tell him to hold on for a minute as we wait for my family to come in the room.
I let Haley go first as she opens her first letter to her first choice; UCLA, the same college as Connor and Brady. I didn't apply there though if I did I could have been with them.
She nervously reads the letter as a frown, crosses her face. I start to get worried. "I didn't get in..."
We all gave her a look of sympathy.
"Just kidding! I got into UCLA!!" She jumps up in happiness.I jump up with her after totally believing her acting beforehand. Everyone let outa sigh of relief before congratulating her. She opens her next letter regarding the summer camp she applied for and no surprise she got accepted too.
"I'm proud of you, Hales," My dad praise as she pull Haley into a hug. Her mom walks over to her hugging her tightly as well.
I turn to my phone, as we wait for Connor to open his letter. "We are happy to tell you you have been accepted..." he mutters before breaking out into a smile.
"Omg! Connor! I'm so happy for you!" I exclaim, happily.
"Yeah, but that means when you get accepted to Yale, we'd be really far away," He says, reminding me of that.
"It's okay, we'll find away to make it work," I reply, strong on our relationship which in response he smiles.
"Gag," Luke rolls his eyes. Julia slaps his arm, lightly scolding him.
"Okay, you go Bri," Connor says from the other side of the phone.
I take a deep breath in before, slowly tearing at the envelope.
My eyes scan over the text nervously.
Dear Sabrina James,
It is with great pleasure and excitement that I extend to you congratulations on your acceptance to Yale University! You have been selected from a pool of exceptional candidates, a testament to your hard work, dedication, and outstanding achievements. ...

I squeal excitedly as I finished reading. I couldn't believe it, I was actually accepted.
"Good job bean. I'm so proud of you!" My dad hugs me.
"You're going to do so well," Julia praise as she hugs me as well.
"No surprise there, tutor girl," Connor remarks. I roll my eyes playfully, pretending to be annoyed.He tells me he has to go as he wants to go to Brady's room and open his acceptance letter with him.
"Aww I can't believe our babies are going to college," Julia tears up, slightly. My dad places a hand over his heart, over dramatically pouting.
"I remember them in the hospital delivery room. Remember when Sabrina was so little," She sighs happily, recalling the memory that did not ever happen.
"Yeah and Haley when she came out with that dent in her head," Haley frowns slightly, touching the top of her head. Her eye widen slightly as she discovers the dent she never knew she had.
"Oh! And Luke, he was so adorable as child soon he'll be off to college too," Julia awes.
"You guys do know that never happened right?" I ask their delusional asses. As much as I would like for it to be true, It wasn't and I couldn't change that.
"Yeah but we'd still like to think that way," Julia responds.
They put a document in front of me, Haley and Luke.
"You wanna adopt us?" I ask in shock.
"Well we wanted to make it legal," Julia explains. Luke and I jump up hugging her tightly while Haley hugs my dad.
" Does this mean I have to call you dad?" Haley asks.
"If you want to," My dad says.
"Okay, Dad," Haley hesitantly says, still getting familiar with the term.
"Does that mean we can call you mom?" Luke asks for the both of us.
"Of course," Julia smiles, putting an arm around each of us, kissing the top of our heads.
" No way. I'm going to be 'Haley Scott-James'?" Haley looks up from her adoption sheet. "Is there anyway to reject this adoption last minute?"She jokes.
"I guess now we're officially sisters," I beam.
"We always were, Sab," Haley smiles, leaning her head on my shoulder.
"Now I can be the annoying little brother to both of you," Luke interrupts, mocking a sweet tone.
We push him away by his face, laughing.
