-Rahaf's pov-
As the first rays of morning light filtered through the curtains, casting a warm glow across the room, I found myself filled with a sense of anticipation unlike any other. Today marked the beginning of a new chapter in my life-one filled with excitement, possibilities, and the promise of new adventures.
Sitting up straight I stretched my arms, feeling the satisfaction wash over me as my muscles made that crack voice.
I turned my head to the side where my husband was still asleep. He must have worked till late at night, leaning down at his level I took my opportunity to look at his features closely.
My gaze followed from his silky dark brown hair which were disheveled on his forehead, to his beautiful eyes having long lashes, to his perfect sharp nose, to lastly his lips which looked too tempting and inviting.
Gulping down my saliva I moved my gaze away and attempted to get up but something pulled me back.
"Ouch!" I groaned feeling a sharp pain on my scalp as some hair of mine got stucked to his shirt button.
"Shukar alhamdulillah he is still asleep.." I mumbled to myself and untangled my hair from his shirt button before pulling away and disappearing into the bathroom to get ready.
After taking a quick shower I wore a baggy jeans along with a kurti, leaving my hair in a messy bun, I carried a scarf and drapped it over my head.
Glancing over Aydin through the mirror I found him still asleep, I thought to let him sleep peacefully and went downstairs as I wanted to make breakfast for everyone today.
By everyone I mean my in laws, as all the guests had already left including my parents since the wedding was over. I had cried for an hour straight during my parents farewell, but having such sweet in laws my sadness were gone by their comfort.
With a spring in my step, I made my way to the kitchen, eager to start the day on a positive note. I first made tea as everyone in the house loves tea except me ofcourse, and then I baked some bread.
Important note: I LOVE BAKING
The aroma of freshly brewed tea filled the air, mingling with the scent of freshly baked bread, as I set about preparing breakfast for the family.
As I hummed a cheerful tune, lost in the rhythm of my tasks, I was startled by the sound of footsteps behind me. Turning around, I found my mother-in-law standing in the doorway, her expression one of pleasant surprise.
"Rahaf, beta you made breakfast today?" she exclaimed, her eyes widening in disbelief as she took in the sight before her.
I couldn't help but smile at her reaction, a sense of pride swelling within me at the realization of my newfound ability to contribute to the household. "Yes, mom I did," I replied, my voice filled with a mixture of excitement and satisfaction.
"Maids are here dear, you shouldn't have bothered yourself." She said taking a seat at the dining table.
"I wanted to make breakfast today." I replied, my cheeks slightly red.
She smiled and nodded in understanding and then the rest of the family began to trickle into the kitchen, drawn by the tantalizing aroma of food wafting through the air.
Noor bhabhi, Zain bhai and my father-in-law joined us at the table, their faces lighting up with smiles as they took their seats.
Despite the absence of Aydin, who was still fast asleep after working late into the night, the atmosphere was one of warmth and camaraderie.
