-Aydin's pov-

The morning sun filtered through the sheer curtains, casting a soft golden glow across the room as I stood before the mirror, meticulously adjusting the knot of my tie.

My mind was consumed with thoughts of the day ahead, the weight of responsibility bearing down upon me like a heavy cloak.

I've neglected my work enough and now I've to focus on my work more. Past few weeks were full of adventures, I found myself doing things which 20 years old me would never believe I did.

I've got the deal which I was working on for almost a year now. The New York's biggest technology company wanted to collab with me and I couldn't get any best opportunity than this to grow my business more.

For that I will be leaving for New York next week on a business trip with my secretary and few of my employees.

I woke up today finding Rahaf hugging me as always, I'm noticing since few weeks we're waking up hugging each other.

Yesterday Rahaf had menstrual cramps, but what made me angry was that she lied to me about her being fine. I hate lies, if she's not fine then what's the problem in telling the truth?

As I straightened my posture, preparing to face the challenges that awaited me, the bathroom door creaked open, and Rahaf emerged, her face adorned with a thick layer of what appeared to be a green paste.

I couldn't help but stare in disbelief, my initial shock giving way to a mixture of amusement and concern.

"What on earth have you put on your face?" I exclaimed, my voice betraying a hint of incredulity as I took in her appearance.

Rahaf simply shrugged, a playful twinkle dancing in her eyes as she replied, "It's a face mask, Aydin. You know, to keep my skin looking flawless."

She is unbelievable!

I shook my head in bemusement, as I watched her. Despite the seriousness of the day ahead, her carefree attitude never leaves her personality.

With a resigned sigh, I turned back to the mirror, focusing once more on the task at hand. Time was of the essence, and I couldn't afford to be distracted, not when so much rested on the success of the day.

As I fastened the clasp of my Rolex watch around my wrist, the weight of its presence served as a silent reminder of the importance of the moments that lay ahead. With each passing second, the urgency of the day's agenda pressed upon me, driving me forward with a relentless determination.

"I think you should try this face mask, Aydin," she said, holding up the jar of green paste for my inspection. "It's really good for your skin."

I regarded her with a raised eyebrow, my expression as stoic as ever. "I don't have time for such frivolities, Rahaf," I replied, my tone clipped and businesslike. "I have important matters to attend to."

Rahaf's bottom lip jutted out in a playful pout as she protested, "Oh, come on, Aydin. It'll only take a few minutes, and it'll make your skin look so much better."

I shook my head firmly, unwilling to entertain the idea any further. "I've already told you, Rahaf," I said, my voice firm and unwavering. "I have no interest in such things. Now please, let me be."
