-Rahaf's pov-As I rushed back home, tears streamed down my face, blurring my vision and clouding my thoughts.
The weight of everything that had transpired with Aydin bore down on me like an unbearable burden, threatening to crush me beneath its weight. I longed for solace, for a moment of respite from the whirlwind of emotions that raged within me.
As I entered the house, my father's concerned voice cut through the haze of my thoughts. "Rahaf? Beta, where were you? And where's your phone? Aydin is calling."
The mere mention of Aydin's name sent a surge of anger coursing through me, and I turned to face my parents with a steely resolve. "I don't want to talk to him, Papa," I said, my voice trembling with suppressed emotion.
My father's frown deepened, his concern evident in the furrow of his brow. "Beta, is everything okay between you both?"
I shook my head, my frustration bubbling to the surface. "I don't wanna talk about him," I replied sternly, my tone brooking no argument.
But my father persisted, his worry evident in his voice. "Beta, if there's any misunderstandings between you both, then go back and solve them."
His words struck a chord within me, igniting a torrent of emotions that threatened to overwhelm me. "No!" I exclaimed, my voice trembling with emotion. "I won't go back. Kya ye mera ghar nahi hai? Main yaha kuch din bhi nahi reh sakti?" (Isn't this my house too?) (Can't I stay here for few days?)
The disbelief in my father's eyes mirrored the turmoil in my own heart, and he reached out to me with a comforting hand. "Of course, this is your house, meri bachi," he reassured me, his voice gentle yet firm. "You can live here as much as you want."
With a heavy heart, I rushed to my room, seeking solace in the familiar surroundings that offered me a sense of sanctuary.
As I closed the door behind me and locked it from inside, I allowed myself to succumb to the overwhelming tide of emotions that threatened to consume me.
Alone in the quiet confines of my room, I let the tears flow freely, each droplet a silent testament to the pain and heartache that had gripped my soul.
And as I lay curled up on my bed, enveloped in the darkness of my despair, I knew that the road ahead would be fraught with challenges, but I was determined to find my own path, to reclaim the sense of agency that had been lost in the tumult of my tumultuous relationship with Aydin.
As I lay on my bed, the weight of the day's events pressing down on me, I couldn't help but feel utterly exhausted, both physically and emotionally.
The tears had flowed freely, like a river breaking through its dam, leaving me drained and empty. It was in this state of desolation that I succumbed to sleep, seeking solace in the realm of dreams.
Sleeping after crying was peaceful, the day passed and night arrived, my sleep shattered by the persistent knocking on my door.
With a heavy heart and a groan of reluctance, I dragged myself out of bed, my limbs heavy with fatigue. Each step felt like a monumental effort, as if I were wading through quicksand.
