When Logan woke up, his head was pounding. He felt something cool touch his forehead and looked up to see Eden pressing a damp cloth to his head.

"What happened? Is she alright?" he asked. The last thing he remembered was waking up from a nightmare and plunging his claws straight through Rogue.

"She's fine. A little on edge maybe but she'll be okay" Eden told him.

"What did she do to me?" he asked.

"It's her power. She can take the life force from other people. In mutants, she can temporarily absorb their power" Eden told him. "Your ability to heal saved her life."

Logan let out a low groan, the light from the lamp next to his bed made his eyes hurt. "I feel like she almost killed me."

"I'm pretty sure if she held on any longer she would have," she said, pressing the cloth across his head.

"What is that? Some special potion you made?" he asked.

"No, you weirdo" she laughed. "It's water."

"Of course" he mumbled, closing his eyes as he relished in the feeling of the cool water on his head. And he wouldn't tell her but even though her pheromones couldn't affect him he still smelled them.

All the time. From the moment she walked into the Professor's office. She might've been onto something about giving him a heart attack.

"Do you get nightmares a lot?" she asked.

"What?" he asked, opening his eyes to look up at her. She just gave him a pointed look, pressing him to answer. He sighed, grabbing her wrist and gesturing for her to put the rag down as he sat up.

"Every night" he sighed.

"I might have something that'll help you sleep," she said.

"What? You offering to spend the night?" he asked, a teasing smile on his face.

"If I spent the night in here the last thing you'd be getting is sleep," she said, a smirk on her face as she watched his muscles tense at her words.

Not saying anything, she held her hand over the vase sitting on the nightstand. The green and white peace lilies turned into beautiful dark purple flowers. Tapping against the petals, he watched as purple dust sprinkled out.

"You poisoning me?" he asked.

"It'll help you sleep," she said. "You look like you need it."

"You're not very nice," he said.

"Told you" she smiled, as she stood up to leave. "Sweet dreams."

"It'll be a good dream if you're in it," he told her.

Eden turned to him and smiled. "Mmm. Then I hope it's a wet one" she said, before walking out, closing the door behind her.

Logan knew it definitely would be.
