The brisk morning air nipped at Minjee's cheeks as she walked alongside Yuna through the busy streets of New York.
The two best friends were giggling together as they made their way towards Nook & Nibble, their favorite little cafe in the city. It was the following day of her return and she had agreed to meet up with the girls before their practice, like they usually did.
The familiar chime of the bell over the door announced their arrival as they pushed open the door, and Mrs. Smith looked up from behind the counter.
"Minjee! Back so soon and looking every bit the star," Mrs. Smith exclaimed, her eyes twinkling as she came around to greet her warmly. "We've missed you around here."
"Thanks, Mrs. Smith, it's good to be back," Minjee replied, her dimpled smile genuine as she inhaled the comforting scent of freshly brewed coffee and baked pastries. She had missed her regular cafe visits. "Can we have our usual, please?"
"Coming right up, dear," The sweet lady chirped, turning to prepare their order with practiced ease.
The pair made their way to their usual spot, a cozy booth by the window. Elena and Belle were already there with their drinks, their faces lighting up at the sight of Minjee.
"Look who's graced us with her glamorous presence!" Elena shouted across the cafe, causing a few heads to turn.
Belle stood up to pull Minjee into a tight hug. "We've missed you so much, Minnie. Tell us everything."
Settling into the familiar cushioned seats, the table quickly filled with vibrant chatter.
"So, spill! We want all the details, every single one," Elena demanded playfully, leaning forward. "How was the city of angels? And more importantly, how was hanging out with BTS?"
Minjee laughed, the sound light and happy. "It was incredible, you guys. Between the interviews, the shows, the shootings, and just hanging out with the guys, it was like living in a different world."
