Daisy's POV

I love my job. I love going to work every single day. BUT, I love my job for a reason and that reason is Grant Daily. That man stole my heart the moment I met him in my interview. I knew that I had to have him. I know he cares about me as much as I do him. He always gives me a beautiful smile when he walks in the door. That smile is mine, alone. No one gets quite the same look. He always looks like he gets a little happier when he sees my face which makes me melt, but I think he's shy. I know I need to make it easier for him to ask me out but I don't want to appear like all those other whores that throw themselves at him.

He never seems interested in any other woman, which just solidifies my knowledge of how he feels about me. He knows he can always rely on me. He has trusted me with so much about himself like his favorite foods and restaurants or how he loves his coffee. He doesn't trust anyone else to get it for him. He even trusts me to book flights and hotels for him. I expect he's always hoping that I will meet him there but again, shy. I think he's the gentleman type that would only sweetly court me and then propose, waiting until marriage to take me.

He brought me flowers on secretary's day. I know it meant more than that, but it was a good opportunity for him to give me flowers without worrying about how I would feel about them. He does little extra things for me as well, like letting me go home early sometimes. He acts like he's all tired and ready to close up early but I know he's just doing it to give me some time to relax and do what I want for the rest of the day. He always says so. "Why don't cha head on home, Daisy? I know you'd rather be home relaxin' than up here wastin' away with this 'ole construction crew. We're gonna lock up early today." I mean, really? How sweet is that? I know he is doing that just for me but sends the others home so they don't get jealous of our relationship.

I'm just getting settled in for the day when a whore walks in. Typical Jezebel in her little skirt and red blouse. I mean, who wears a red blouse to work? Such a slutty thing to do. I know she's trying to get Grant's attention but she just doesn't understand. He only has eyes for me, whore! She's way too fat for him anyway. He likes how tall and lean I am. I'm always careful to not eat too much around him so he knows that I am staying fit for him. I just love his southern accent as well. Moving here from the north, at first that accent raked on my nerves, that is until I met Grant. His is just so smooth and dark and it makes you want to listen all day.

"How can I help you?" I ask. Hey, I have to be professional. This is my man's business and I have to be sure it runs well. He depends on me to do this at least until we are married and I hire someone else to do this for us.  We'll run the company together and he will be happy to have me at his meetings, just to show me off.

"Good morning. I'm Michelle Garcia with Highlight Technologies. I have an appointment with Grant Daily to review the construction progress of our building. I have something that has come up and I need to review it with him." she replies with a smile. Ok, so she might be here just for business but I don't see a ring on her finger, so that still makes me pretty apprehensive. I need to keep my eyes on her. I know about this project and it's one of Grant's largest. I have to make this woman feel comfortable or it could cost Grant and that just won't do.

"Please have a seat and I will let him know you are here." I say with a smile back at her. I want her to think we are the best construction company out there in case they need more work. She's got nothing on my beauty and I think she knows it. I sit up straighter to lengthen my back and continue to work. I call Grant to let him know she's here. "Hi there Grant. I hope you are having a nice morning." I say as sweetly as I can. I like putting him in a good mood and I know my voice does this for him.

"Hey Daisy. Yep, doin' purty good. Whatcha got?" He replies. See? He's just so sweet with me.

"A Ms. Garcia is here to see you about the Highlight project." I inform him, maybe a little coldly but he doesn't seem to notice.
