Decided to post the second chapter already because the first one was pretty short and also more an exposition and introduction 🤲

Lloyd couldn't see it. He couldn't hear it. But he felt it.

Lloyd woke up to his alarm clock ringing in his ears. Normally he would start his day meditating together with Wu but this day was different. He guessed all his days would start like this from now on - except for the weekends, bless those - .

So he did what he assumed every other Teenager in Ninjago was doing right now.

He dressed himself in his favorite hoodie so that he could at least have a bit of comfort going into highschool. It was a neat black hoodie with a ribcage drawn atop its chest area. There was also a lone green 5 drawn on the upper left corner of it. He probably had this hoodie since the start of time to be honest.

It probably wouldn't help him with the 'don't intimidate others' factor but he couldn't care less right now.

He wasn't really hungry yet as his scheduled breakfast used to be way later. He just decided to leave without breakfast. Lunch would probably be enough for him.

So he grabbed his barely filled backpack and went outside to the docks to start his walk to the school.

He was lucky the school was close by. Lloyd probably wouldn't have survived having to drive with the bus (couldn't say the same for an alternative version of his).

Lloyd was expecting Wus list to be one of those ultra long scrolls his unlce liked to carry around.

He was definitely not expecting an app on his cellphone. Heck, he didn't even know Wu knew what a phone was.

But here he was, phone in hand, with an app open that could probably grant him some jail time.

The app was pretty sorted. He could open any profile to reveal the persons face, age, personal information, like the name/s of their parent/s, and some other stuff about them as a person.

There were three files in total. Two empty and one full of student profiles.
The empty ones were meant for 'potential Elemental Master' and 'definitely Elemental Master'.

Out of curiosity Lloyd searched up his own name just to be greeted by a profile photo of him sleeping in his bed in a broke-a-neck kinda position. Name, age and other personal information were filled out, though the description of him read as followed:

You know who you are, nephew. Now stop messing around and go find the other Masters.

Just out of Lloyds need to be a perfectionist, he put himself in the 'definitely an Elemental Master' file with the note: Elemental Master of Energy

And with that he closed the app.

Lloyd didn't even notice that he was already at the schools gates until he put away his phone.

He knew what the building looked like. He nearly always passed it when it came to the rare occasion of him going into Ninjago as a civilian. He never imagined actually entering that school. Most often the visits to town would be because Wu tasked him to get more tea from Mystakés tea shop when he ran out.

Mystaké was strange but she was always nice to Lloyd. Every time he entered her shop things smelled weird and every time without fail his instincts would go haywire and tell him to get out of there asap. But Mystaké was always so kind, which was very rare that she was, Wu told him. She'd give him some sorta tea to calm down while she prepared Wus order, always free of charge (his tea, not Wus order). It always relaxed him. Maybe she could give him some of that stuff for school next time...
Sometimes Lloyd wondered why Mystaké liked him. Was it pity? Was it because he's Wus nephew? He didn't know. Sometimes he dreamed it was because she actually just... liked him and his company - which was stupid of course, why would she ever think like that. -
