"Whoa whoa whoa. You're telling me you, Lloyd Garmadon, son of Lord Garmadon are actually the green ninja fighting said father???" Jay sounded like he was about to hyperventilate.

"Now THAT is a plot twist I didn't see coming".

Cole was silent for a minute, seeming to be frozen in shock.

"You can still decline the offer.." Lloyd added quietly. He didn't want to force them to work with him.

He was unaware of the glance Zane gave him.

"What? Nah dude, I don't care who your dad is. If anything this just proves you're an alright guy. I mean I know more than anyone that your father can't decide what person you'll be." Cole gave him a reassuring smile.

Lloyd smiled back, if only lightly. He hoped Cole saw.

"Hell yeah! I'm in. This feels like such a crazy science-fiction movie" Jay seemed to now be beaming of excitement.

"... Why do you have to be such a nerd" Cole merely whispered.

"Ok so, now that that's done. I guess the only thing left now is saying bye?" Lloyd gave an unsure glance to all of his new teammates.

Zane thought for a moment. Before he could even start to form a sentence Jay chimed in.

"How about we have a sleepover? I mean if your family is ok with it. We could talk about our powers and maybe think about who the others are!" Jay voiced his opinion rather loudly which made Lloyd flinch.

But that.. wasn't actually a bad idea.

"It will be very unlikely for us to have school tomorrow so I see no reason for me to have a problem with that." Zane added.

"I'm in" Cole simply replied.

Now all eyes were on Lloyd. But those eyes weren't judgy and full of hatred like how he was used to. They were hopeful and cheerful. Man could he get used to this.

"Fuck it - "Language" -, why not?"

And with that their fate was sealed.

Lloyd never imagined having a sleepover with people his age, like never ever.

Yet here he was, arranging blankets and pillows for his teammates to sleep on.

Lloyd was in his usual green hoodie and dark green sweatpants for sleep. He gave the others the green light (haha green) to take whatever they want for sleep.

They were lucky that Lloyd loved oversized stuff otherwise the only person to fit anything would be Jay.

Zane was now wearing one of Lloyds plain white t-shirts and a pair of gray sweatpants. Jay was sporting one of Lloyds signature green hoodies and shorts. Cole was wearing one of Lloyds black t-shirts (it just barely fit him) and a pair of black shorts.

With that, they were all set.

"Sooo what does one do on this noble aboard?" Cole asked. He was sitting in Lloyd's pillownest. Jay was leaning against him. Lloyd was in the middle and Zane was on the far right.

"Well... I don't normally do things like this so I have honestly no idea-" Lloyd laughed nervously. He did not want to fuck this up for him.

"Well maybe we could talk about how we got our powers! That would be fun. Oh, oh I could start!" Jay really fit his element, Lloyd noted.
