All in all it had been a fun week. More often than not Lloyd found himself hanging around Dareths Mojo Dojo together with his teammates. After their initial 'battle' Dareth had begged Lloyd to teach him. It was a weird sight, seeing a middle aged man ask a 15 year old to teach him everything he knew. Lloyd had tried to give him a few tricks but Dareth soon quit and was dissapointed that none of the moves were animal themed.

Dareth had told him the other people training at his Mojo Dojo were only there on the weekend. That was no problem. The weekend was reserved for actual training anyways. So here they were, on a saturday morning in the warehouse.

Lloyd had really seen improvement in the guys and he had asked uncle Wu for his wisdom. He had asked if Wu would soon be the one training them but his uncle had told him that Lloyd was still well capable on training them himself. He wasn't sure if that was the whole truth behind the ordeal but he didn't pry any further.

Lloyd decided to work on something different this day.

"So, I must admit you've made great progress in your journey in becoming a ninja" he looked to his teammates. They stood there with proud faces.

"And I thought we could maybe finally start training your elements!" he was met with excited approval.

"Oh heck yeah!" Jay exclaimed. "I was wondering when we'd finally do that. It sucks having these awesome powers but not even being able to use em.." the others agreed.

"Great! So, uhh bare with me here.."

Lloyd went to fetch something he'd prepared beforehand. He came back and placed a canister of water in front of Zane. Then a jar of dirt in front of Cole and finally he placed a light bulb in Jays hands.

"I didn't really know how to properly start this so have at this: All of you need to properly control your powers. You need to know your strengh and how to use it. Zane, you will try to freeze and unfreeze this water here at command. You need to be 100% in control. Try to freeze it slowly. Try to freeze it fast. Cole you technically have to train two powers. First you'll focus on controling earth. Get to know it. When you're done with that try to reactivate your lava hands and test out your strengh. Try to break stuff and try to not break stuff. Lastly, Jay. You need to light this light bulb with your hands. You need to be careful though, you can't break it. With the immense energy in your lightning powers, this will be quite a challenge, but I'm positive you will be able to master it."

With explanations in place his teammates began. He would've practice his own element if he didn't feel the need to watch over the others and to make sure they wouldn't harm themselves or others.

It went better than he had thought. Zane and Cole got the hang of controling their substances. Zane soon easily frosted and defrosted water so Lloyd made him try to spawn ice from nothing. Once Cole got the hang of controling the dirt, he went onto strengh. That was a lot trickier for him. Let's just say he did break a lot of stuff not meant for breaking. Speaking of breaking, let's just say Lloyd was glad he had a lot of spare light bulbs. But in the end Jay also mastered that and went onto trying to attack a dummy with lightning.

It was a very productive day and it ended with the team chilling in Lloyds room.

Lloyd sat on his bed with Zane, discussing some things about their elements. Jay was just snooping around Lloyds room while Cole was keeping an eye on him.

"If your element is energy, does that mean you could technically enhance other powers?"

"Well I'm not sure. Uncle Wu said that my element is a bridge between the elements of creation. There is a lot I don't know yet, about my powers and their connections."

"Your element is not an element of creation?"

"No, not really. While other elements such as the elements of creation are passed down by ancestors or people that deemed the holder worthy, my element does not work like that. It's the first of its kind. I'm not sure if I could even pass it on, I'm the first Master of Energy. The elements of creation are named after the fact they were used to create Ninjago aswell as other realms. My element didn't exist then, or it slept until I was born to unlock it."

"Wow I guess you really are special then, huh?" Cole tuned into the conversation.

Lloyd blushed of embarassement.

"I mean I guess it was kind of on the nose, with my family and all. I think it'd be more special for someone who doesn't have those connections to get that power.."

"Whatever you say, boogers"

"Skylor!" Jay suddenly shot out.

"Who?" Lloyd asked confused.

"She could be a great guess! She's a very fierce girl, has been training in various martial arts since she was young. And nobody knows who her mother was, she was a very private and mysterious person, people say. Maybe that's because she was an Elemental Master!"

"How do you know so much about her?"

"He likes to spy on people"

"WHat?? No I don't! I follow her on Ninstagram and she's very open about that stuff."

"W-"

"BECAUSE she has some connections.."

"He means she's friends with his crush"

"Can you stop that??" He punched Cole in the arm, but ended up hurting himself more than he did Cole.

"Well I guess, not regarding where the information stems from, she does sound like a good pick. We could try to spy- I mean we could try and see if she shows any signs of an element on monday."

"I bet she has fire" Jay suggested.

"Because she has red hair?" Cole looked to him unimpressed.

"...yes."
