Mondays were a blessing and a curse for Lloyd. Mostly a blessing, though. Believe it or not. It was a day in which there was a less than 10% chance of a Garmattack. It was a day in which he could just hang out with his friends in and out of school.
The day started like ever other school day. Walking to the school, meeting up with his friends and going to classes.
Nya was excluded in this routine for now, on her own accords. She had said she needed to work some things out before she could openly hang out with them. Lloyd understood. He had told her to take her time, he really didn't mind.
Actually paying attention to his classes was something else Lloyd had become familiar with. Originally, he was only meant to go to the school to find the Elementals. He was stilled homeschooled afterall.
His homeschooling had actually paused for the time being. Mostly because his Uncle dissappeared for a few days and Lloyd really couldn't be bothered. After Wu had returned he deemed the things Lloyd learned in school to be enough. Lloyd was really glad for that.
So he was actually kinda going to this school for real for the time being. Lloyd couldn't even really believe it would quite possibly be over soon.
Lloyd had learned quite a lot in the little time he had been on this mission.
Now it was just lunch time again.
"Have you heard the leader of the football team has quit?" Jay mentioned, slurping on his juice box.
"He was replaced with Kai Smith if I'm not mistaken" Zane added.
"Nyas brother?" Lloyd asked, picking on his soggy potatoes.
"Yeah, it was a mutual vote, apparently." the blue ninja offered.
While they were busy with conversation, Cole arrived at their table and sat with them.
He sighed. "Can you believe I got a C in the math quiz?? My dad's gonna kill me!"
"A C is average, though. Why would it be punished?"
And so their conversation continued, unaware of the eyes waching them.

His last subject was physics. It was definetly one of his less prefered subjects. But Lloyd powered through.
It had become quite calm during lessons for him actually. Most of the name calling was saved for the halls and before and afterschool.
Lloyds poor brain was finally released with the oh so sweet sound of the bell ringing. Now it was only a small walk to the schoolgate.
Lloyd packed up his things and left the room. He set course for his locker, looking to pack away the burdens that were his school books.
Before he could slam close his locker, he felt a finger tip on his shoulder. He snapped around to be met with the face of Kai Smith.
"Oh, uh, sorry. I didn't mean to frighten you" he apologized, his hands in the air, meaning no harm.
"No, it's alright" Lloyd reassured, turning back for a second to close his locker.
