RDR1 SPOILERS AHEAD!!!

JUNE 1905

I woke up to Sadie hugging me. I laughed as she hummed softly. "You're up."

"It's hard to sleep with a maniac breathing down my neck." I joked and she chuckled. "We doing some hunting today?"

"Yeah." I breathed out as I felt her hold me closer. "Mr White and Mr Black..."

"Funny names." Sadie said and I laughed lightly. "Sure..."

"We could maybe just lay here all day." Sadie whispered. "Hang around with Copper. Go for a ride later."

"We're supposed to be hunting down these two idiots." I laughed and Sadie did the same. "I'm sure they'll still be there."

"Just five minutes." I said and Sadie hummed. "Just five minutes..."

After a while, Sadie and I made our way down to Leymone. It was a goose-chase. The two men were nowhere to be found.

"Sadie... I think we should just call it a day." I smoked a cigarette and Sadie scoffed. "Not a chance. We're gonna find these bastards."

"Maybe they ran. They probably saw the bounty's and decided to move elsewhere. It's what I would've done." I inhaled smoke and Sadie looked up a tree slowly. She chuckled. "There is no way in hell..."

I followed Sadie's eyes to a treehouse. Legs dangled off the edge. A man was there. He had a gun pointed at us and I backed up laughing a little bit. "This is a nice place you boys got." I put my hand on my holster and Mr Black nodded. "It is... you two bounty hunters?"

"We are." I nodded. "I'm Rosa, this is my partner, Sadie."

"Morning." Sadie tipped her hat and Mr White gave us a firm look. "Y'all here to turn us in?"

"I'm not so sure anymore..." I shrugged. "You sorta got us." I smelled some sort of food. It didn't smell that good. "You two cooking up there?"

"Mhm." Mr Black nodded putting his gun away. "I ain't much of a cook, but i'm better than he is." He pointed to Mr White and Sadie laughed. "If you're better than him... i'd hate to see his cooking."

"Now why would you tell them that?" Mr White argued as Mr Black flicked him away. "Oh, whatever. Don't get all sensitive on me now."

"So... how long you two been running for?" Sadie asked and Mr White shrugged. "Since of last year."

"Mhm." Mr Black nodded. "I guess you could call us partners."

"In crime?" I laughed and he nodded. "Something like that.... and you two?"

"Something like that..." I looked over at Sadie. "What do you think?"

I had an understanding that these men were sort of like us. Partners hiding away from everyone else. I felt an unusual prejudice in their favor.

"Whatever you decide." Sadie nodded and I sighed. "Alright..." I looked up at the two men. "I guess eighty bucks ain't much."

"You know... y'all could stay for dinner if you'd like." Mr Black said. "We don't got many friends due to our..."

"I get it." I nodded. "Sadie and I don't got too many friends like us neither." I said and Sadie laughed. "We don't need no friends."

"That's what I say..." Mr White pointed at Sadie. "we just need us two."

"See?" Sadie chuckled. "Mr White understands."

"Mr White don't know nothing." Mr Black said. "Rosa, you and I, we're extroverted."
