I got bored and decided to write this

KAREN JONES.

John, Rosa, and Uncle died on the same day. It was all so tragic. Tilly was the one who found Rosa. I can't imagine what that was like for her.

The poor girl apparently screamed at the top of her lungs. Her husband was with her. Tilly says she was visiting Rosa to give her a late birthday gift.

Rosa's brains were apparently spilled all over ground. She had been shot once in the abdomen then once in the left side of her head.

Hopefully, it was a fast and painless death.

Later we found out from Abigail that John and Uncle were killed too. They were killed by the Pinkerton agents. We're assuming that they got Rosa too.

Goddamn bastards.

We were holding a funeral for the three of them. Abigail insisted we had Rosa buried near Beechers Hope. She wanted her to be near her family. John and Uncle were the closest thing she had.

Mary-Beth insisted we bury her next to Sadie, but no one could make the trip. Besides, Rosa told me once she didn't want to be buried near her. She said she wanted Jake and Sadie to "have their special spot".

She told me once "I don't really care where i'll be buried. I know where my soul will rest."

When I asked her where, she answered "Wherever Sadie's is."

I thought it was tragically romantic. But now I just find it sad.

Rosa was buried next to Uncle. Though the two were always bickering, they loved each other. It was obvious they did. Uncle loved John and Rosa like any real uncle would, I suppose.

I had arranged to move into Rosa's old house. I figured it would be better than selling the place to some stranger.

But for some goddamn reason, I couldn't bring myself to even walk into the house. The blood puddle outside taunted me.

Tom, my lover, had been in the house. He said it was perfect and that Rosa kept everything "neat". That surprised me.

She was never neat back then. I remember her side of the tent was always messy. Seemed she matured over the years.

I was speaking to Mary Linton who stopped by to pay her condolences.

Apparently she had gotten friendly with Rosa some time ago. It was a strange pairing.

"I'm sorry about John and that Uncle." Mary said. "I didn't know much of them, but i'm sure they were sweet."

I laughed. "Not really. But thank you."

"Arthur always spoke so kindly of Rosa and John." Mary smiled. "Like siblings."

I didn't even know what to say. I stayed silent as Mary continued to speak about Rosa.

Rosa was like a younger sister to me. Everything seemed so unreal. I lived with her for almost half of my life.

"Well, i'll let you go now." Mary payed me a sympathetic look. "I'll see you around."

"B-Bye." I nodded.

Tom approached me with a glass in his hand. "You all right?" He handed me the glass of water. "You seem out of it."

"I'm fine." I sighed taking a sip of water. "You worry too goddamn much."

He chuckled. "Sure."

Tom had cried when he heard about Rosa dying. I didn't...
