Chapter 21

Robin's POV
I tried to remain calm as soon as Anne and I walked over to Liam. I wanted to strangle him though. Courtney may not be Anne and I's blood but she is my daughter! How dare he come here after laying his hands on her.
"Liam. You need to leave." I said.
"Why? My wife is here and I want to make sure she is okay."
"Liam. Now is not a good time. Courtney does not want to see you right now." Anne said.
"Nonsense! I have a right to see her! She is my wife!"
"And she is our daughter! Liam if you don't leave now I will call security." I said in anger.
"You can't keep me from her!" Liam said.
"Liam, please leave." Anne said. I knew she was trying to remain calm and not make a scene in the hospital, but I know she wanted to let her anger out on Liam like I was, but decided to remain calm.
"You'll regret this!" Liam shouted and left the hospital. Anne sighed and wrapped my arm around her. "It's going to be okay."
"I hope so." We both then made our way back to Courtney's room.
"Where did Harry and Gemma go?"
"I told them to take the boys back to Harry's to get some rest. I don't want them in the hospital too long."
"Okay. We just wanted to let you know that Liam is gone."
"Okay. I think I'm going to sleep for the rest of the day. This whole Liam thing has tired me out." Courtney said. Anne and I could tell she looked drained. This whole thing with Liam, having the twins early, it was a lot.
"Get some rest." Anne said.
"While I rest, can you please get an update on the twins? While you were talking to Liam, the doctor came in and said they had to run some tests."
"We will. Don't worry dear. I'm sure everything is fine." Anne said and kissed her forehead.
"Thank you. Can one of you also call Louis and tell him what is going on. I want to talk to him." Courtney said.
"Of course dear. Now, rest." Anne said. We both then left the room for Courtney to rest. I really hope things will get better for her.
