Chapter 11

I woke up the next morning with a groan. Once my eyes adjusted to the light I looked over and saw that Liam's side of the bed was made. I sat up and was about to get out of bed when I heard the door open. I looked over to see Liam with a tray in his hand with breakfast and red roses and Henry and Luca running in after him!
"Happy mommy's day mommy!" Luca said.
"Happy mommy day!" Henry said well tried to say, but I understood what he meant.
"Happy Mother's Day love." Liam said as he set the tray on the side dresser and gave me a kiss.
"Thank you, but you didn't have to do this." I said.
"I wanted to. The boys wanted to." Liam said as he sat on the bed.
"Luca, Henry why don't you go get your presents for mommy." Liam said and they grinned and ran off and came back a few minutes later.
Liam then got up and went to the closet and got out a bag as well.
"Okay who's first?" I asked with a smile.
"Me!!!" Luca and Henry said at the same time and I laughed.
"How about Henry first since he's younger? Okay Luca?" I asked.
"Okay. Go ahead Henry!" Luca said happily.
Henry then handed me a picture that said reasons I love mommy, which I'm guessing he did in daycare and then he handed me a bag and I owned it to see a charm bracelet which I'm guessing Liam helped him pick out that had charms with their names, and 2 baby rattles for our newest members.
"I love it. Thank you baby." I said hugged him and kissed him causing him to giggle. Luca then gave me his craft from school as well and then I opened his gift to see a beautiful locket and opens it to see a picture of my baby boys on the one side and a blank side which I would put a picture of my newest babies.
"Thank you Luca. I love it." I said and hugged and kissed him as well.
Liam then handed me his I opened it and saw a gift certificate for a massage, a gift certificate for hair and nails and a letter. I opened the letter.
Dear Courtney my love,
I know I haven't been the best husband lately but you deserve to be pampered. I hope you enjoy the gift certificates to treat yourself. I also wanted you to know that I am sorry for how I have been losing my temper which is why I have decided to start seeing a therapist. I know it's not much , but it's a start to fix us....I hope. I'm apologizing in advance in case I slip. Also look in the bag to find something else.

I could feel tears in my eyes and hugged Liam. "Thank you." I whispered in his ear and wiped my tears and looked in the bag to find a key.
I looked at Liam confused. "You'll find out what it's for tomorrow after I'm done work." Liam said.
"Okay. Now who is going to help me eat this because I can't eat it all." I said.
"Me!" Luca and Henry said.
Liam then went to get plates and came back and we dug in. We then spend the day watching a Disney movie, Liam then made lunch, we played with the boys for a bit and then after their nap, we changed and went to dinner reservations Liam made. After dinner we went home and put the boys to bed and then Liam and I went to bed. It was actually a perfect Mother's Day.
